Romanian by birth, I have worked and lived in the UK for the past 16 years. I have dual citizenship, Romanian and British, and I speak fluent Romanian, English and intermediate French. I have had many opportunities in my life working both in education, the private creative sector and charitable organisations. I am an enthusiastic and down to earth person. I enjoy many things in life, and I tend to be successful in all things and career paths that I have pursued, simply because I take every challenge seriously and I am a very hard worker.

Short Statement:

I am a passionate artist and educator. I invest a lot of my time and skills into my teaching career. I am very enthusiastic about education and I am very committed to improving young people's chances of discovering their untapped creativity. My philosophy is very simple, I build relationships based on mutual respect, instilling belief and self confidence in young people. I consider working with students an integral part of my everyday creative life and I am very grateful to have the opportunity to educate young people.

I believe teaching art requires more than any other subject a variety of pedagogical methods. My art practice informs my teaching and I would also hope it inspires young people to achieve their full creative potential. Central to my lessons are the learning objectives that all my students can access and a clear understanding of the assessment criteria to support their attainment levels. I believe learning in Art lessons should be structured as well as exciting. In my current and my previous positions I have always created opportunities that provided students with a supportive and positive environment.
