This is your chance to try various tools and state-of-the-art gadgets and ask questions. This informal setting on the Exhibit Hall floor will give you the opportunity to learn and play at the same time. Drop in anytime to take a look at the variety of products or stay longer for the CE presentations running each day highlighting various categories. Plan to stop by the Playground and have some fun! Come and take live images with a variety of products in the Playground. 1 CE Hour 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm THE EVOLUTION OF LASERS Lasers have been available for many years but there has been a remarkable change in power, pricing, and size. Learn the capabilities (and limitations) of these new systems and try them here at the Playground. You may discover one that can be used daily in your practice. 1 CE Hour 10:00 am - 11:00 am 11:30 am - 12:30 pm DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY: SENSORS, PANORAMICS, AND CONE BEAM CT New products and lower entry costs are expanding the opportunities for all dentists to utilize some of the more sophisticated radiology equipment in their everyday practice. We will review the current sensors and software in the marketplace, examine the latest digital panoramic units, and explore the numerous reasons for every dentist to consider the new 3D radiographic cone beam imaging. 1 CE Hour 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm INTRAORAL IMPRESSION SCANNING DEVICES AND CAD/CAM Over the past year there have been enhancements in both impression scanning devices and the software. Although some systems create restorations in the office, all allow this digital scan to go to a lab. Examine the new workflow and see how the units and/or the lab can create CAD/CAM as well as traditional restorations using the digital impression, in some cases without any models. Several units will be in the room allowing attendees a one-on-one experience using multiple systems and software. 2 CE Hours 10:00 am - 11:00 am 11:30 am - 12:30 pm CARIES DETECTION: DIGITAL REPLACEMENT FOR THE EXPLORER There are several new devices that use technology to detect caries. Some can be used for diagnosis while others are useful during procedures to check progress. The words “watch” or “got it all” will have a new meaning using these devices. A few new restorative tips will also be shown. 1 CE Hour 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm POTPOURRI OF NEW PRODUCTS See the latest digital entries in all aspects of clinical dentistry. The newest products from the Yankee Exhibit floor as well as some that are a preview of things to come will be displayed in the Playground for attendees to see, try, and learn about in this informal setting. 1 CE Hour Booth 2634
