Warm Greetings !

Orange City, the zero mile of India and now the Tiger Capital

of India with its Beautiful Reserved Forests is all set to welcome you all

during its most comfortable season in September as the Academy of

Pediatrics Nagpur is all set to host the 9th National Conference of the thChildhood Disability Group of Indian Academy of Pediatrics on 14 , 15

& 16 September 2012.

The field of Childhood Disabilities is attracting many with a

sense of devotion and commitment. Their efforts have brought this

field to a phase where the management is no longer restricted to Drugs

and Hospital but has developed into a Holistic Multidisciplinary Care.

This Conference is a humble effort to bring together all stake

holders in the management of Childhood Disability to create an

environment conducive to early identification of the Disability and

offering a Comprehensive Management. There will be stress on need of

centers with multiple disciplines brought under one roof to achieve the

objective of providing this care.

This Conference will also highlight the rights of Disabled and

their present status in India, especially issues like insurance related

services and products for the Disabled, the future need of this sector.

We Salute all who are working in this field, the Pediatricians,

Paramedics, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Audiologists,

Speech Therapists, Special Educators, Social Workers, Policy Makers

and also the affectionate and devoted Parents who provide care and

opportunity to the Disabled Children. We invite and welcome you all to

be a part of this endeavor to conquer.
