Institute also offers the training to face the job

interviews and group discussions which students

are expected to go through. It also ensures the

readiness of the students to prepare themselves for

the opportunities awaiting for them.

Institute has a dedicated team with the objective of

organizing campus recruitment programs, provide

placements to students, helping to get sponsorships

for projects, internships etc. This team coordinates

with the HR departments of various

companies/industries and invites them for on-

campus placement of students. Moreover, every

department has a T&P coordinator from amongst

the faculty to counsel and coordinate the students.

The institute has taken efforts to incorporate some

Procedure:

All the Final Year students (UG – after Sixth Semester and PG – after second semester) have to mandatorily

register with T & P cell by filling up the requisite form along with biodata, testimonials, and photograph also

they have to keep on updating there data with the T&P Cell.

Training programs in Soft skills, Personality development, aptitude/interview/group discussions

competencies – arranged free of charge prior to the commencement of actual Placement activity.

All the companies in the database are invited to be part of the Placement process well in advance and

consistent follow up is exercised. IT /Software services companies are first to be scheduled on campus,

since they are mass recruiters. Core and dream (discipline specific) companies are invited in the second

schedule.

The day and date allotment to the particular company of a typical category is decided with consensus

amongst Students and T & P cell authorities, based on well defined criteria. On the day, the process starts

with Pre-placement talks regarding Company and job profile, service terms and conditions, followed by

Written test, GD and Interviews as applicable. The shortlisted candidates are informed about their selection

on the same day.

Offer letters received from the companies are distributed to Students through T & P cell. Student Placement

Committee (SPC) members actively participate in the whole activity. Records of Placement are documented,

updated and preserved for future usage. The activity continues through-out the Year.
