In this area the groundwater basin is adjudicated Groundwater replenishment and withdrawals are under the jurisdiction of the Upper LA River Watermaster ULARA ULARA answers to the courts

LADWP represents the interests for the City of Los Angeles LADWP also has jurisdiction over the contamination of the groundwater wells

Bureau of Sanitation has no jurisdiction over the adjudication or any groundwater They do have jurisdiction over the LA River TMDLs which have not been addressed LAMS4 ORDER NO R4-2012-0175 reads as follows
