The range includes a revolutionary SuperLite axial an, a choice o market leadingVeloduct sealed ttings, Iris dampers, an innovative roo an, in addition to re

dampers, valves and domestic ans.

The inclusion o duct fttings and fre dampers within the range, which werepreviously only available outside the UK, is expected to enable the exclusiveSuperLite partners to access new markets.

The quality and reputation o Flkt Woods ully certied fre and smoke dampersis well-known. When used or early re detection, linked with a smoke detector andcombined with our automated control systems, they provide the optimum modernre prevention solution.

Veloduct is a name well-known to many in the industry, and we are proud toannounce that our SuperLite Partners will be stocking a broad range o duct-ttingproducts, including the renowned Veloduct system o gasket-sealed ttings, as wellas high qualityvalves, dampers, attenuators and other pressed fttings.

Also included in the new range is a collection o iris dampers, o both compositeand stainless steel design, these dampers are easily adjustable and come in awide range o sizes, or ecient and eective control o air fow.

One o the main attractions is a new product, the SuperLite axial an range, alight industrial an, with integral eet and an integral fange and spigot. This uniquepatented solution allows ast and easy installation in most ducted congurationsand also comes as a retrot conguration where it can replace existing products.It eatures a ully speed controllable external rotor motor that oers a verycompact and versatile solution, suitable or either vertical or horizontal mounting.With a durable paint on galvanised construction, this an is a modern andinnovative addition to the Flkt Woods axial an range.

31JM - (315mm) to 100JM - (1000mm)

Larger sizes up to 2800mm diameter are also available

FAN PERFORMANCEAll ans are tested to the latest internationally recognised

standard IS05801 Part 1 (1997), installation category

D (AMCA approved) or aerodynamic perormance and

BS848 Part 2 (1985) or acoustic perormance. Coupled

with a wide range o an diameters, the adjustable pitch

Aerooil impeller gives the exact perormance required,

with a non overloading an characteristic.

IMPELLERS

A unique high eiciency aerooil section blade with a

purposely smoothed hub and clamp plate or adjustable

pitch angle availability.

The Flkt Woods impellers are all high pressure die castto oer thin aerooil sections or low generation o noise.

Every cast aluminium component is X-ray examined using

Real Time Radiography inspection prior to assembly. The

maximum pitch angles shown allow or speed control by

requency inverter (3ph only).

MOTORS

All motors are totally enclosed air stream rated class

F insulation. Constructed rom aluminium or cast iron

as standard with special T slot or pad mounted ixings.

Single speed motors are suitable or speed control by

voltage regulation where indicated. Three phase motors

are suitable or use with requency inverters. Two speed

motors where available are pole change type. Suitable orhorizontal through to vertical shat operation. Supplied

IP55, with removable drain plugs.

Sealed or lie bearings lubricated with wide temperature

range grease. The BT and CT rames are itted with

overheat protection thermostat as standard. 80-160

rame motors are itted with Thermistor OHP. These

motors are suitable or inverter speed control down to

20% o ull speed and where within scope incorporate IE2

compliant motors.

ELECTRICAL SUPPLY

220 - 240V / 50Hz / 1 Ph

380 - 420V / 50Hz / 3 Ph

TEMPERATURE RANGE

-40C to 50C as standard. (All motors are not suitable

or starting at temperatures lower than -20C.). When

ans are operating in excess o 50C they should be run

at ull speed only, ans can be operated up to 70C with

appropriate deration o motors.

Most standard 3 Ph ans can be oered or a one o

emergency operation at 200C or 2 hours.

CASINGS

JM Aerooil ans are available in either a long cased orm,complete with an externally mounted pre-wired electrical

terminal box, or short cased or duct or plate installation.

Casings are spun rom sheet steel with integral pre-drilled

and radiused inlet langes. The galvanised inish gives a

high resistance to corrosion and is ideal or external as

well as internal use.

ACCESSORIES

Silencers, mounting eet, vibration isolators, matching

langes, Fexible connectors, air operated non return

dampers, guards, bell mouth inlets. Electronic and

transormer type speed controllers and requency

FAN PERFORMANCE

All ans are tested to the latest internationally recognisedstandard IS05801 Part 1, installation category D oraerodynamic perormance and BS848 Part 2 (1985) oracoustic perormance.

Coupled with a wide range o diameters, the adjustablepitch Aerooil impeller gives the exact perormancerequired, with a non overloading an characteristic.

IMPELLERS

A unique high eiciency aerooil section blade with apurposely smoothed hub and clamp plate or adjustablepitch angle availability.

The Flkt Woods impellers are all high pressure die castto oer thin aerooil sections or low generation o noise.Every cast aluminium component is X-ray examined usingReal Time Radiography inspection prior to assembly. Themaximum pitch angles shown allow or speed control byrequency inverter.

MOTORS

Flkt Woods H.T. Series ans utilise a totally enclosedsquirrel cage motor. The grades o motor insulationhave been selected to meet the speciic requirements oreach o the H.T. Categories. These motors are suitableor inverter speed control down to 20% o ull speed andwhere within scope incorporate IE2 compliant motors.

ELECTRICAL SUPPLY

TEMPERATURE RANGE

Fans are tested in compliance with high temperature teststandard directive 89/106/EEC to EN 12101-3, and areully CE marked accordingly.

Flkt Woods H.T. Series an motors are sized to runthe ans continuously at normal ambient temperatures(-40C to 50C), as well as operating at their emergencyhigh temperature category.

(All motors are not suitable or starting at temperatureslower than -20C).

Most Standard 3 Ph ans can be oered or a one oemergency operation at 200C or 2 hours.Note: During emergency use the inverter should beoverridden and the an run at ull speed.

CASINGS

JM HT Aerooil ans are available in long cased orm,

complete with an externally mounted pre-wired electricalterminal box. Casings are spun rom sheet steel withintegral pre-drilled and radiused inlet langes. Thegalvanised inish gives a high resistance to corrosion andis ideal or external as well as internal use.

ACCESSORIES

Silencers, mounting eet, spring type vibration isolators,matching langes, lexible connectors, air operated nonreturn dampers, guards, bell mouth inlets.

removed rom the system. Failure to do this could mean that excessive heat can transer via the shat/casing to the motor tunnel that can cause degradation o the

All ans are tested to the latest internationally recognisedstandard IS05801 1997, installation category D oraerodynamic perormance and BS848 Part 2 (1985) oracoustic perormance.

IMPELLERS


The Flkt Woods impellers are all high pressure die castto oer thin aerooil sections or low generation o noise.Every cast aluminium component is X-ray examined usingReal Time Radiography prior to assembly.

MOTORS

All motors are totally enclosed air stream rated classF insulation. Constructed rom aluminium as standardwith special T slot or pad mounted ixings. Motors aresuitable or speed control.

Suitable or horizontal through to vertical shat operation.Supplied IP55, with removable drain plugs.

Sealed or lie bearings lubricated with wide temperaturerange grease. Motors are itted with thermostat overheatprotection as standard. Three phase motors are suitableor inverter speed control down to 20% o ull speed andwhere within scope incorporate IE2 compliant motors.

ELECTRICAL SUPPLY220 - 240V / 50Hz / 1 Ph380 - 420V / 50Hz / 3 Ph

TEMPERATURE RANGE

-40C to 50C as standard (all motors are not suitableor starting at temperatures lower than -20C). Fans thatinclude BT or CT motors can be continuously operated attemperatures up to 70C.

When these ans are operating in excess o 50C theyshould be run at ull speed only. Other ans can beoperated up to 70C with appropriate deration o motors.

CASINGS

MaXans are available ully cased, complete with anexternally mounted pre-wired electrical terminal box.Casings are spun rom sheet steel with integral pre-drilledand radiused inlet langes. The galvanised inish gives ahigh resistance to corrosion and is ideal or external aswell as internal use.

FAN PERFORMANCE

Coupled with the above an diameters the speedcontrollable motor allows the exact perormancerequired to be obtained.

IMPELLERS

A unique high eiciency aerooil section blade. The FlktWoods impellers are all high pressure die cast to oerthin aerooil sections or low generation o noise.

Every cast aluminium component is X-ray examined usingReal Time Radiography inspection prior to assembly. Themaximum pitch angles shown allow or speed control byrequency inverter.

MOTORS

All motors are totally enclosed airstream rated classF insulation. Constructed rom aluminium as standardwith special pad ixings. Suitable or horizontal through tovertical shat operation.

Supplied IP55 with removable drain plugs. These motorsare suitable or inverter speed control down to 20% oull speed.

ELECTRICAL SUPPLY

220 - 240V / 50Hz / 1 Ph380 - 420V / 50Hz / 3 Ph

TEMPERATURE RANGE

-40C to 50C as standard.

Fans can be continuously operated at temperatures up to70C. Whilst these ans are operating in excess o 50Cans should be run at ull speed only.

PLATES

Manuactured rom mild steel with powder coat inish,ans are supplied as standard with motor side guard.

ACCESSORIES

Louvre shutter, Motor side guard, Bell mouth inlet andElectronic transormer and inverter type speed controllers.
