The future tense of regular verbs is formed by adding the following endings to the stem of the verb:


PARLARE LEGGERE PARTIRE

io parlerò leggerò partirò

tu parlerai leggerai partirai

lui/lei/Lei parlerà leggerà partirà

noi parleremo leggeremo partiremo

voi parlerete leggerete partirete

loro parleranno leggeranno partiranno

Some very common verbs drop the ‘e’

of the ending:


AVERE ANDARE DOVERE

io avrò andrò dovrò

tu avrai andrai dovrai

lui/lei/Lei avrà andrà dovrà

noi avremo andremo dovremo

voi avrete andrete dovrete

loro avranno andranno dovranno

Also: potere,saperevederevivere….


Some drop the ‘e’

or the ‘i’

and acquire ‘rr’:

is completely irregular, while dare, dire, fare, stare

keep the stem unchanged:
