The future progressive Tense
future progressive/continuous and its usage:
1) To express an activity that will be in progress at a time in the future.Example:
I will begin to study at seven. You will come at eight. I will be studying when you come.
Affirmative statement
To make an Affirmative future progressive statement, simply follow this pattern:
Subject+will+be +main verb in base form+ing
•I /He/she/it will be playing football Sunday afternoon.
•We/you/they will be playing football Sunday afternoon
Negative statement
To make a negative past progressive statement, simply follow the following
pattern:
Subject+will+ be+not+main verb in base form+ing
•I/He/she/it will not be playing Sunday afternoon.
•We/you/they will not be playing Sunday afternoon.
We use short forms in the Past Progressive in negative sentences:
I/he/she/it won't be playing Sunday afternoon.We/you/they won't be playing Sunday afternoon.
Question
To make a question in the present progressive, simply follow the following pattern:
Will/+subject+be+main verb in base form+ing
•Will I/he/she/it be playing Sunday afternoon?
•will we/you/they be playing Sunday afternoon?
Affirmative Negative Question
I will be taking a shower
I will not be taking a shower
Will I be taking a shower?
you will be running home
you will not be running home
will you be running home?
She will be reading a magazine.
She will not be reading a magazine.
Will She be reading a magazine?
