Private EyeArriving at the office building Dad uses his phone to quickly check the Web cam outside his office to see what’s awaiting him
Multi-Thread CommunicationOn a video conference call with colleagues around the country - and a company he’s trying to land a deal with - Dad carries on a side text chat with that appears on-screen and only on the screens or phones of colleagues

Digital Memory BoosterIn the hall Dad uses his “Whoozit” wearable facial recognition gadget to almost instantly read his boss John’s face and send back vital info including the name and birthday of his wife. “happy birthday to judy,” he says, just as they pass.
Realtime Customer PulseBack at his desk Dad checks in on the “pulse feed” that sends a live stream of what people are saying on the social networks about his division’s latest product release. The Sentiment summary indicates 84% positive except for one region of the country where marketing has yet to begin.
Tapping into Wireless Public CamerasDad calls mom who is at the mall and wants to see what she’s bought so mom moves to the nearest public wireless camera and syncs her VoIP connection with the overhead cam giving dad a large, full view
Mail Call!Johnny awakes to the sound of his WiMAX clock reading the subject lines of his mail and latest updates from his social networks. At a simple voice command Johnny can prompt the device to record a voice response or speech-to-text retort.

Personal ConcertsWhile listening to the latest single from his favorite band while walking home he broadcasts a link simultaneously to friends who are on IM, other phones or computers and they can listen in synchronously, creating a virtual micro-concert
Live-MatchingJohnny gets a continuous data stream from passersby who sharing his entertainment preferences. On the bus his phone sends an ice-breaker message looking for XGames fans, finds one and the two make a plan to meet up later online to play virtualX.
Homework HelpThat night Johnny does a realtime search for a study group by simply typing in a phrase from the chapter he’s reading from Philosophy class and gets matched with others seeking the same. They join a video chat.

Mom the ManagerMom uses the kitchen PC to check her personalized “uber updates” that display everything published online, meeting her interests, while she slept
She then eyes the energy manager to see if there was a lift in generated energy via their rooftop mini windmill and transmits the data to the regional grid manager.
Johnny was out a little late the night before so she connects to the car’s ECU and sees where his travels took him
“Just in Time” Bargain AlertsShopping at the mall for Dad she pays with her phone using “PhoneSwipe” and the clerk is alerted by the application that the sweater is a bit cheaper down the mall a way so they match the price to save the sale.

Interactive Wireless BillboardsExiting the mall she confronts an interactive billboard, or a
“Saleboard,” and asks the on-screen virtual assistant about a pair of shoes in a magazine she has. The Saleboard captures the image, finds shoes just like them and offer to have them delivered home. Mom holds up her phone to pay and confirm.
Just-in-Time ShoppingMom remembers she wanted to pick up flowers but isn’t sure where to get them quickly as she needs to head to the office. She broadcasts a text request from her phone using “MerchantConnect” and within minutes several offers to sell the daisies arrive; she chooses the one closest and with the best price.
Indirect MessagingShe needs to get a message to her boss but doesn’t to get into a conversation right now so the calls in a message direct to his voicemail inbox, skipping the ring on the boss’s end

Life-SyncWalking into the office mom notices a hummingbird and manages to snap a picture. With a click she then broadcasts the photo to her social networks, her home wireless picture frame and to her printer.
