1 HIRING ORDSALL HALL AND GARDENS Ordsall Hall and Gardens - Salford's Grade 1 listed Tudor manor - was first recorded in 1177. Since then, it has been home to Medieval gentry, Tudor nobility, Catholics loyal to the crown, butchers, farmers, an Earl, an artist, priests, scout troops, mill workers, cows and several ghosts! Today, it is an engaging museum, a wedding and a conference venue open throughout the year. Surrounded by two acres of organically managed gardens, it boasts hands on exhibitions, immersive room settings, meeting rooms and a small café. Ordsall Hall is close to Salford Quays and not far from the end of the M602 and the main routes into Manchester. The closest tram stop is Exchange Quay on the Media City / Eccles line. Meeting Rooms

There are two meeting rooms for hire at Ordsall

Hall. They are available to hire from Monday –

Friday and from 1 – 4pm on Sundays.

- The Markendale Room seats 10 people (in

boardroom style)

- The Radclyffe Room can seat up to 25 people

(boardroom style). More people can be

accommodated in horseshoe formation.

Both rooms have wifi, a laptop, a projector and

screen. The Radclyffe Room boasts an interactive

whiteboard.

Charges are the same for both of the meeting rooms:

- £55.00 for up to 3 hours between the hours of

9am and 4pm Mon-Fri and between 1pm-4pm on

Sunday

- £100.00 for more than 3 hours hire (between

9am-4pm Monday-Friday)

- £50.00 per hour for use out of normal operating

hours (after 4pm)

- Day delegate rate of £30.00 (minimum of 8

delegates in Markendale Room and 10 in Radclyffe

Room).

Tours of the Hall

Short, informal tours can be arranged (subject to availability) for before or after your meeting (or during

your break for lunch).

Hire of the grounds

The Hall is surrounded by approximately two acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. These lend

themselves well to outdoor team building exercises and away days.

The grounds can be hired exclusively at a rate of £150 per hour.

Grounds can be hired 8am-8pm every Friday and Saturday, from 4pm Monday-Thursday, from 8am-12

noon Sundays, and from 4pm Sundays.

Payment

Total price for hire will be confirmed by Hall staff after all catering requirements are identified. All prices

include VAT. Please note that late cancellations may incur a charge.
