DESCRIPTION
Some furoshiki techniques for a surprising gift wrap.TRANSCRIPT
Furoshiki, the Japanese art of gift wrapping
Furoshiki for one bottle
Place the furoshiki cloth on the table, face down, and the bottle in the middle, at the intersection of the diagonals
Tie a knot with the two left and right corners of the furoshiki.
Wrap the top and bottom corners behind the back of the bottle and again to the front, where you tie another double knot.
Furoshiki for two bottles
Place the furoshiki cloth on the table, face down, and the bottles mid-distance between the horizontal diagonal and the bottom corner
Lay down the bottles, without moving their position, with their bottoms facing each other, and start rolling the furoshiki from the smaller corner
When reaching the end, tuck in the corner and bring up the bottles, tying a double knot at the top.
This furoshiki is easy to carry without any other gift bag.
Furoshiki gift bag

Tie the upper and lower corners into a tight knot, over the gift
Bring together the left and right corners and make a small knot at the end of the corners, to create the handle
Kangaroo furoshiki
