Intended audienceAn interactive symposium designed for fellows and general surgeons involved in robotic-assisted hernia repair.

Course descriptionThe purpose of this educational event is to facilitate discussion on successful solutions for managing robotic ventral, inguinal and hiatal hernia repair along with understanding the proper use of Ventralight™ ST with Echo PS™ 2, 3DMax™, Phasix™ and Phasix™ ST mesh. Discussion will include a review of preclinical and clinical data, science and technology of products, economics and advantages of robotic hernia repair.

From the conference room, surgeons will have the opportunity to observe live cadaver demos.

Educational objectives• Review current literature for hernia repair techniques,

materials and patient management strategies

• Gain new insights into surgical techniques for robotic hiatal, inguinal, and ventral repairs

• Demonstrate use of BD products in robotic-assisted hernia repair
