• In 1961 a group of business man worried about the education of the children and young people in the rural areas, founded the Agricultural Experimental Center El Peñon
• Focused to give technical training to the students at The Valle de Amilpas.
• Besides to offer an integral education and the adequate orientation about how to cope with their moral obligations and p gwith their civil rights.

Technologic College in Agriculture El Peñón
• These opened a door that for decades were considered closed for thepstudents of the region: the possibility of being accepted in anyprestigious university of the country

• In 1887 it was constituted as an Institution of Private Assistanceunder the name of Fundacion El Peñon I.A.P.
