OVERVIEW

Melbourne Sports Centres is a collection of world-class sporting and recreational facilities including Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre (MSAC), Lakeside Stadium and the State Netball & Hockey Centre.

Lakeside Stadium is located at the northern end of the picturesque Albert Park Lake and plays host to some outstanding functions and events, both sporting and social. Along with its international standard athletic facilities and FIFA sized soccer pitch there are several versatile function rooms available to hire.

With stunning city views and glimpses of Albert Park Lake there is no better destination to hold your next event. Our state-of-the-art facilities are designed to impress and inspire, ensuring your event with us is a success.

EVENT SPACES & CAPACITIESLakeside Stadium has a number of versatile function spaces. The stadium itself has seating for up to 7400 spectators across two main stands.

The primary function space, Albert by the Lake, can host up to 300 guests for events. The room can be opened up onto an expansive balcony taking in stunning views of the stadium and of the city skyline. It’s ideal for a wide range of occasions including corporate lunches or dinners, cocktail parties, Christmas events, conferences, awards nights and weddings.

The Presidents Room is another flexible function space that overlooks the stadium and has fantastic city views. With an abundance of natural light its ideal for meetings, seminars, cocktail parties and conferences.

GETTING THERE

Public transportStop 129 on the number 96 tram from East Brunswick to St Kilda Beach (this is a level access stop)

Stop 131 on the number 12 tram from Victoria Gardens to St Kilda (this is a level access stop)

By bikeThere is ample bicycle parking at various points around the outside of the stadium.

By car Lakeside Stadium has a convenient car park metres away from the stadium itself, with a total of 275 spaces. The carpark is operated by Parks Victoria. Parking is subject to availability.

Weekdays after 5pm Flat rate: $5.20

Weekday Maximum all day rate: $12.50 per day
