(ii)The Summit Boardroom

Situated in the Upper Cable Station building, above the Summit Lounge.

This intimate room has two private balconies: facing Lions Head and the City bowl (capacity 15 pax) and the Twelve Apostles Mounta

range and Devils Peak capacity 40 pax).

This function area is ideally suited for small groups for conferencing.

Maximum capacity as a cocktail function venue is 30 people

Maximum capacity for conferencing is 16 people.

Summit Room Half Day : R1900.00 Summit Room Full Day : R2500.00

Outdoor Venues:

(i) TheTwelve Apostles Terrace

An open-air venue situated below the Table Mountain Caf.

This Terrace faces the Twelve Apostles Mountain range and is ideally suited for early morning breakfast and evening cocktail functions

Maximum capacity is 400 people.

This venue is very weather dependent and has no back-up plan.

This venue forms part of the only area where smoking is permitted on the mountain.

Group identification is essential for this venue as public have access at all times.

This function area is cordoned off for your group. Turnaround time is 3 hours.

Terrace hire: R3500.00 for the first 150 people; R25.00 p/p thereafter.

((((ii) The City Side Viewing Deck

An open-air balcony situated near the Summit Lounge, a two minute walk from the Upper Cable

Station.

This sandstone walled deck has beautiful views of the city and is excellent venue choice for any

time of the day.

Turnaround time is 3 hours.

Deck hire: R1500.00 for a maximum of 20 people.

(iii) TheSacred Circle Viewing Deck

This area is a five minute walk from the Upper Cable Station, overlooking the City.

This wooden deck has equally beautiful views and is also suitable for any time of

the day.

Turnaround time is 3 hours.

Deck hire: R2500.00 for a maximum of 30 people.

(iv) TheCaf Terrace Balcony

An open-air venue situated behind the Cafe, above the Twelve Apostles Terrace.

This balcony faces the Twelve Apostles mountain range and is a fantastic site for sunset cocktail functions.

Maximum capacity is 35 people, standing.

Includes set up and breakdown, 3 hour allocation. Turnaround time is 3 hours.

Balcony hire: R2500.00.

General Function Information

1. Capacity of venues

The maximum capacity is based on hosting cocktail-style functions, not seated functions.

Venue hire includes: basic furniture, table linens and service equipment and service requirements.

2. Quotation Policy

Food and beverage prices are subject to change, all quotes valid for 30 days.

Tickets quoted separately.

3. Tickets

1 Oct 2010 30 Sept 2011: R170.00 peradult return, purchased online.

Online tickets have a 14 day validity. Unused tickets are to be cancelled online.

4. Exclusive service

One waiter is allocated per every 20 people, depending on the type of function.

10% gratuity charged on all food and beverage.

5. Catering

All menus are platter style.

If your event is cancelled on the day due to poor weather conditions, the prepared food can be

collected to be used at your Plan B venue.

All groups that are larger than 30 people will incur cancellation fees on the menu, should we be

closed and the food is not collected.

6. Incentive

Miniature Table Mountain shaped bottles (125ml) filled with brandy/sherry/fruit

schnapps/red grape juice/virgin olive oil, encased in a plastic holder, can

display your company logo / welcome message @ R55.00 per bottle.

7. Payment

Full payment of the function invoice is required 48 hours prior to the function (EFT preferred).

Bank details are available on the initial invoice to you; please e-mail your payment remittance

to: [email protected]

Bar bill to be settled at the end of the function.

8. Weather permitting

Please know that the Cableway is a weather dependent site. Should the wind be too strong to

operate, the Cableway will need to close for safety reasons.

There is no Plan B venue available on site - please bear this in mind when booking the venue.

9. Cancellation fee

All cancellations, without exceptions, must be made in writing and proof of cancellation must be

produced to claim a refund.

All no shows will be charged in full. No refunds for no shows.

Please see attached *Terms & Conditions - this needs to signed and sent back to secure your

booking. In the event of the Cableway being closed due to strong wind; a cancellation fee on the menu could

be levied (see point 5 above).

Any special foods, drinks or arrangements that are not usually catered for, will be charged in full,

regardless.

"The client's attention is drawn to the Terms and Conditionsof bookings transmitted as an attachment hereto. All

the dealings between Table Mountain Aerial Cableway Co. Ltd.and the client are subject to such Terms and

Conditions. By accepting the quotation, whether orally or in writing, the client shall be deemed to have read the

Terms and Conditions and to have agreed to be bound thereto.

All quotes are valid for thirty days (30 days). Terms and Conditions are to be signed and faxed back, as proof of

confirmation of your booking.
