SOLUTIONS TO IMPROVE STRENGTH

Reclaimed/Recycled material can be improved with a variety of stabilizing agents to add more strength to the road foundation.

FDR - CURING

Differs with Stabilizing Agent• Foamed Asphalt – Typically – allow recycled material to cure

for (1-2) days before applying a wearing course.• Asphalt Emulsion – Typically – allow recycled material to cure

for (7-10) days before applying a wearing course.• Calcium Chloride – Typically – allow recycled material to cure

for (1-2) days before applying a wearing course.• Portland Cement – Typically – allow recycled material to cure

for (5-7) days before applying a wearing course.

Cure times may vary depending on weather conditions.
