POWER COMMANDER V INPUT ACCESSORY GUIDE
Map - (Input1or2)ThePCVhastheabilitytohold2differentbasemaps.YoucanswitchontheflybetweenthesetwobasemapswhenyouhookupaswitchtotheMAPinputs.Youcanuseanyopen/closetypeswitch.Thepolarityofthewiresisnotimportant.WhenusingtheAutotunekitonepositionwillholdabasemapandtheotherpositionwillletyouactivatethelearningmode.Whentheswitchis“CLOSED”Autotunewillbeactivated.(SettoSwitchInput#1bydefault.)
Shifter- (Input1or2)TheseinputsareforusewiththeDynojetquickshifter.InsertthewiresfromtheDynojetquickshifterintotheSHIFTERinputs.Thepolarityofthewiresisnotimportant.(SettoSwitchInput#2bydefault.)
Speed- Ifyourapplicationhasaspeedsensorthenyoucantapintothesignalsideofthesensorandrunawireintothisinput.ThiswillallowyoutocalculategearpositionintheControlCenterSoftware.Oncegearpositionissetupyoucanalteryourmapbasedongearpositionandsetupgeardependentkilltimeswhenusingaquickshifter.
Analog- Thisinputisfora0-5vsignalsuchasenginetemp,boost,etc.Oncethisinputisestablishedyoucanalteryourfuelcurvebasedonthisinputinthecontrolcentersoftware.
Crank- DoNOTconnectanythingtothisportunlessinstructedtodosobyDynojet.Itisusedtotransfercranktriggerdatafromonemoduletoanother.
ACCESSORY INPUTS
Wire connections:
ToinputwiresintothePCVfirstremovetherubberplugonthebacksideoftheunitandloosenthescrewforthecorrespondinginput.Usinga22-24gaugewirestripabout10mmfromitsend.PushthewireintotheholeofthePCVuntilisstopsandthentightenthescrew.Makesuretoreinstalltherubberplug.
NOTE:Ifyoutinthewireswithsolderitwillmakeinsertingthemeasier.

1 Opentheseatandthefrontstoragecompartments.
2 Removethetwocoversunderthefrontstoragelid(Fig.A).
Remove the push pins.
3 RemovethelowercoverinFigureBbypullingoutwards.
4 Removethemirrorbypullingoutwardsandup.
5 Removetheuppersidecover.
The 2 silver bolts circled in Figure B do NOT need to be removed. Pull outwards in this area.
6 Removetheinnersidecover(Fig.C).
Figure C is shown with the lower side panel removed. This panel does NOT need to be removed to perform steps 5 & 6.

8 UsingthesuppliedVelcro,securethePCVunitinplaceundertheseat.
9 RoutethePCVharnessdowntheleftsideofthevehicleandgotowardsthethrottlebodies.
10 AlsousethesuppliedVelcrotosecuretheO2Optimizerunitinplaceundertheseatontherighthandside(Fig.D).
11 Routeitsharnessdowntherightsideofthevehicleandgotowardstheairbox.
Make sure to keep the harnesses away from the seat latch.

12 RemovethemountingboltforthestockMAPsensorontheleftsideofthethrottlebodies.
This allows access to the rear fuel injector.

14 PlugthepairofPCVleadswithYELLOWcoloredwiresin-lineofthestockwiringharnessandtherearfuelinjector(Fig.G).
15 ReinstalltheMAPsensortothrottlebody.
16 Unplugthestockwiringharnessfromthefrontfuelinjectorontherighthandside(Fig.H).
This connection is located to the right rear of the air box.
17 PlugthepairofPCVleadswithORANGEcoloredwiresin-lineofthestockwiringharnessandfrontfuelinjector.
18 LocatetheThrottlePositionSensorontheleftsideofthethrottlebodies.
19 UsethesuppliedPosi-taptoattachtheGREYwireofthePCVtothestockTAN/WHITEwireoftheTPSwiringharness.
Figure J is shown with the TPS harness disconnected from the sensor. Make sure to reconnect the harness to the sensor after attaching the GREY wire to it.

20 AttachthegroundwireofthePCVwiththesmallringlugtotherearcylinderheadontheleftside(Fig.K).
Remove the stock bolt and insert bolt thru the eyelet of the PCV ground wire and reinstall bolt into head.

23 UnplugthestockwiringharnessfromtheIgnitionCoilandplugthepairofPCVconnectorswithGREENandBLUEcoloredwiresin-lineoftheIgnitionCoilandstockwiringharness(Fig.N).
This connection is located on the left side near the oil tank. The connector is on the front of the coil, squeeze the tab and pull forward to release.

Itisnotrecommendedtoalterthevaluesinthishighlightedareaofyourfueltable/tablesunlessinstructedtodosobyaDynojettechnician.Usuallyablanketfuelchangevalueof8-10acrosstheentireclosedlooprangeworksbest.
