The exposé for a study project could be defined as a "study plan" too. The purpose is that

the student explains the aim, priorities/objectives, and expected outcomes of the study

stay. For instance, why wants to apply, what relevance the program has (current studies,

future academic goals, and future career), outline learning objectives and assignment

schedules (e.g. Fudan courses/program if possible), how the time in Fudan will be

expended in a meaningful manner, etc. The student could emphasize these, or other,

aspects that considers relevant to the selection committee to prove her/his application

should be selected as a suitable candidate for the program.

Nevertheless, there is no one-size-fits-all approach in terms of writing style or content for

the exposé as it should demonstrate the student’s ability to present a structure, well

organized and substantiated argument to select his/her application.

3. M.A. Students:

e. Exposé to the research project in the scope of 3-5 DIN A4 pages (including
