Normandy, “Duval” (his nickname within the harness racing community) has put together a body of work

that is recognized and respected in every level of harness racing.

As a trainer his biggest successes for the moment

are Pearl Queen and Ready Cash. Pearl Queen won 23 of the 40 races that she took part in between 2005

and 2008. Raised, trained and driven by Thierry Duvaldestin, Pearl Queen performed exceptionally well

during the 2006 season and was undefeated in 14 races. That same year,she was the queen of Vincennes.

She won five Group I races and eight Group II races.

Two years later the famous professional was

entrusted with a once in a lifetime horse named Ready Cash. He joined his stable in September 2010 after

several fruitless attempts. He claimed his first victory four months later in the Prix d’Amérique with Franck

Nivard in the sulky. He won a second Prix d’Amérique in January 2012. This was an amazing achievement.

In the meantime, the native of L’Aigle shattered

the record for victories by a trainer in one year

increasing his score to 210 wins (2009). This is quite a milestone for a trainer who thrives on challenges and

has the success to prove this.
