Administrative Assistant &amp; Raisers Edge CoordinatorJob DescriptionThe Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research (FSR) is the nations leading nonprofit organizationdedicated to finding a cure for this disease. Since 2000, FSR has worked to fund sarcoidosisresearch, raise awareness of the disease, and serve as an authoritative resource for patients,health professionals and the public.SUMMARYThe Administrative Assistant &amp; Raisers Edge Coordinator is responsible for providingadministrative support to the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research (FSR) Executive Directorand Director of Development. This includes managing and assisting with report creation for thedonor database, drafting correspondence and providing receipts and acknowledgements todonors, assisting with event logistics, participating in events, note taking, assisting with meetingpreparation, overseeing merchandise order fulfillment, assisting with marketing projects andconducting potential prospect research.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may beassigned. Serves as frontline communication for the FSR office Manages the Raisers Edge database and ensures proper data entry of donor information Processes all gifts, acknowledgements, and reporting for cash contributions, in-kind contributions, online gifts, and matching gifts Processes credit card payments and other donations received Creates and logs accurate gift coding, all pledge payments, gift invoices, past-due tracking, and receipts Pulls lists for mail merges, constituent biographical data for mailings, and other requested lists by the development staff Coordinates regular database maintenance duties such for consistency of format Prepares and sends merchandise orders for FSR Provides assistance to the Executive Director and Director of Development in supporting volunteer committees including preparation of materials and coordinating logistics; assures meeting follow-up Attends Board Meetings and other Committee Meetings as requested to take notes Provides infrastructure support to the FSR office; oversees the FSR filing system Assists with cultivation, engagement and stewardship events and activities by working with staff and volunteers to organize and coordinate event details and logistics Assists with marketing and communication projects including the newsletter, email blasts, updating the website, social media activities for FSR, mailings, etc. Ensures that all research and donor records and information are obtained and maintained in an ethical and confidential manner Stays current and is knowledgeable of FSRs programmatic activities Understands and endorses the mission and values of FSR</li></ul> <p> 2.
