The Florida Stormwater Association was incorporated in 1993 by and for professionals in stormwater management and finance. Its focus is on stormwater utilities, best practices in stormwater management, and regulatory policy and programs. A 22-member Board of Directors and four-member Executive Committee govern the Association. A parallel Educational Foundation provides research and scholarship services. FSA’s Core Member Services Training and Education FSA conducts an extensive series of educational events throughout the year. Its Annual Conference is held in June, Fall Seminar in September and Winter Conference in December. In addition, the Fogarty Training Center offers 25 Stormwater Operator Certification classes throughout the year. Members receive discounted rates for all training and educational services. Networking and Information Sharing FSA publishes its “FastTracks” e-newsletter ten times each year. The Association’s Stormwater Utility Report is published every two years. The manual “Establishing a Stormwater Utility in Florida” is in its 3rd edition. Legislative updates are provided weekly during each Legislative Session. Connect with your fellow members using our online Membership Directory. Advocacy FSA advocates for the interests of stormwater managers, programs and utilities in front of the Florida Legislature, state and federal agencies, and trial and appellate courts. Members are actively represented in Tallahassee. Members are kept up to date on developments in the legislative, agency and judicial arenas as they occur. Join Today!
