TheFS-305andFS-355arePIRoccupancysensorsthatturnlightingonandoffautomaticallybasedonoccupancy.Themodelsareslim,low-profiledevicesdesignedforinstallationinsidethebottomofeitheranindoororoutdoorlightingfixturebody.TheFS-305isalowvoltagemodel,whiletheFS-355isalinevoltagemodel.

TheFS-305/FS-355sensorsfeaturetheIP65,UL244AandUL508ratingsforindoororoutdoorwetlocationswhenfullyassembledandinstalledwithFS-LxWlenses.Toobtainthisrating,thesensorunderwentextremelyrigoroustesting.TheIP65ratingmeansthesensorsaretotallyprotectedagainstdustandlow-pressurejetsfromalldirectionswheninstalledinanIP65lightingfixture.

TheFS-305/FS-355consistoftwocomponents,asensorandalens.Fourlenschoicesprovideflexibilityforvaryingmountingheights.Whenoccupancyisdetectedwithinthesensor’scoveragearea,thesensorsignalslightingtoturnonautomatically.Whenoccupancyisnolongerdetectedandthetimedelayhaselapsed,lightingautomaticallyturnsoff.Eithermodelcanbewiredtocontrolallloadsinafixture,ortoprovidehi/lowcontrolofLEDarrays.Bothmodelsprovidealightleveldaylightingfeature.IntheFS-305,thelightlevelfeatureholdslightsoff,whileintheFS-355,thefeatureturnslightsoffiftheloadisalreadyturnedonandadequatedaylightexists.

Applications

FS-305/FS-355sensorsareidealfordamporwetindoororoutdoorlocations.Theyaresuitableforuseinparkinggarages,parkinglotluminaires,aswellasanyoutdoorapplicationwheninstalledinaUL-ratedoutdoorfixture.

Wireless Handheld Configuration Tool

Initialsetupandsubsequentsensoradjustmentsaremadeusingahandheldconfigurationtool(FSIR-100).Thistoolenablesadjustmentofparametersincludinghighandlowmodes,sensitivity,timedelay,cutoffandmore.TheFSIR-100isalsousedtoinitiateautomaticcalibrationoftheFSP-211ambientlightlevelsetpoint.Thesetpointisusedtoholdthecontrolledlightingofforatlowlevelwhenthereissufficientdaylight.Thewirelesstoolstoresuptofivesensorparameterprofilestospeedconfigurationofmultiplesensors.
