LIFE OF CHOPINHe was born on 22th of February or 1st of March 1810 in Żelazowa Wola near Warsaw.

LIFE OF CHOPINChopin is considered one of the most important composers of the romantic, as well as one of the most important Polish composers in history. He was one of the most famous pianists of his time, often called the poet of the piano.

CHILDHOODAt baptism he was given the names of Fryderyk Franciszek in honor of his godfather, and probably his grandfather - François.

After the outbreak of the revolution in Paris in 1848 Chopin went to England and Scotland. He had

been ill with tuberculosis.
