Network Promotion – Two at Two

Page 3: FRS Network Ideas

Two at Two

• The “Two at Two” is a national benchmark on air feature that runs across the First Radio Network.

• The ‘Two at Two’ is a popular feature where a brand can attach themselves to a ‘two songs in a row’ feature at 2pm (just after the 2pm news) over a two week period. A 10” sponsorship credit is played at the start of the two songs, in between and at the end.

• This is supported with a pre recorded 60” competition read – driving listeners to visit the station website to enter for a star prize. The online activity helps the brand to provide detailed product information, push key messages and generate useful data capture for further direct marketing with “clogging” up editorial content.

• As this is a national proposition – there will be one grand prize supported by smaller spot prizes across regions – making this a high profile and tactical radio opportunity for any brand.

Campaign Delivery

10” sponsorship credit x 3 per day (top, in feature and tail)

60” pre recorded comp read x 1 per day

Network Promotion – Win at the Weekend

Win at the Weekend

• “Win at the Weekend” is a national syndicated benchmark feature across the First Radio Network. It’s a “cut and paste” opportunity designed to provide brands with a tactical promotional feature at the start of each day during the weekend.

• A pre-recorded 60” competition feature designed to put brands at top of mind of listeners at the start of the weekend – perfect for driving weekend sales!

• Listeners are encouraged to go online to enter the networked promotion. As well as entering the competition online, listeners will be able to engage with further key messaging and media (eg. Videos) online about the brand.

• As this is a national proposition – there is one overall prize (eg. supported by smaller spot prizes across regions) – making this a high profile and tactical radio opportunity for any brand wishing to speak to weekend audiences (Eg. Retail, Cars, DIY, Leisure)

Campaign Delivery

Network Promotion – The Triple Tune

Teaser

Page 7: FRS Network Ideas

• The presenter plays out a montage of 3 well known songs – 5 seconds from the chorus of each song.

• Listeners are then directed online to a branded micro site to register their details and name the 3 songs.

• The online micro site can house more product detail and data collection is available – listeners are given the option to opt in

• Able to sit in any day part across the day and songs chosen can relate to specific sector – EG: “Born to be wild” for a motor brand

• The winner is revealed online at a specific cut off time on the Friday – listeners are encouraged to check online to see if they are the grand winner
