The Wizard of Oz March 16: 6:30 PM (Doors Open at 6:00)
Join us in the Elementary Gym on Thursday, the 16th to watch the 5th grade classes perform The Wizard of Oz! It’s sure to be a great show.
Underwater Robotics Takes First Place!
Last Saturday, our Underwater Robotics Team competed in the Innovative Design Vehicle Challenge at Waterford Mott HS. This was spon-sored by Square One Education Company.
Our team won the First Place Junior Division Ambassadorship Underwater Innovative Vehicle Design Award. They also scored First Place in Engineering Design. This made them the overall winner our of 32 teams! Future scientists in the making!
The team was asked to participate (at a later date) with their underwater robot in a significant research study to locate WWII airplanes in Lake Huron.
Thanks to the awesome coaches, teachers (especially Mr. Burgess for showing our students how to crimp wires and for cutting a PVC pipe for the team), parents, students and sponsors for making this victory possible.
Frostwear/Popcorn/Parent Friday - 3/17
Your child may wear a Frost logo top with uniform bottoms. Popcorn is available for 25 cents. Parents - Stop in after drop off for some yummy treats and coffee! Relax for a bit and visit with oth-er Frost parents. If you can help make popcorn, please come anytime between 8 AM and lunch. We’d love your help!

Pancake Breakfast: March 18, 8-11 AM Food Donations Needed
We’re closing in on our most delicious community event, Pancake Breakfast! Blandford’s Sugar-bush Festival is the same day from 10 AM-4 PM. To help keep costs down, we’re asking for food donations. Click HERE for the list of what’s still needed. A half-sheet form about donations went home with your students this week. Thank you to eve-ryone who has selected a way to help and re-turned the form! If you still need one, please email Ruth VanWalsum and she’ll make sure you get one.

P.E. Roller Skating Help Needed Adjusted Schedule for 3/13-3/17
Next week is the final week for 2nd-4th grades. 5th grade will miss PE next week due to their Wizard of Oz rehearsals so they will have their last skate the week of the 20th.
The PE classes that normally meet on Thursday have been changed to different days next week, Please see the schedule below for corrected days & times.

If you are able to donate some snacks, bring them with you tonight. We’re looking for things that can be combined into a snack mix: cheese crackers, popcorn, cereal, pretzels, etc. Fruits and veggies that aren’t messy would be great too!

Harmony Hall Fundraiser This Sunday, 3/12: Noon - 10 PM
Harmony Hall is graciously donating $1 for every pint ordered and 10% of food purchases to the PTA.
We are so excited that this great Westside business has decided to partner with us again. The owners are Frost parents and we love to support them too!

All students will cycle through activity stations and will also be walking one mile. We will need help before and during the event on April 21.
There will be some at-home work that can be done if you’re not able to be at the school. Please email Mandy Redman to let her know if you can help.

Cougar Corner (School Store) Update Students have really loved having the store and business is booming! We currently have a limited supply of Frost t-shirts available for only $7. The wonderful couple who usually run the store need to take some time off for family reasons and we are hoping some new people will step up to help out. Please use this SignUpGenius link to help cover some shifts. The store is open Monday-Thursday from 2:40-3:15 and is very busy so we would like two people each day. Thanks for your help!
Coffee Cart Donations: Brownie Makers Needed!
If you like to bake anything, we’d love your dona-tions! We have a HUGE demand for brownies and always run out. If you are willing to making some, that would be great! We have boxes of brownie mix on the shelf in the PTA room. Just let Alicia Barnaby know you’re helping out so she knows to replace the boxes. Bring any donations to the PTA room in the mid-dle/high building on Friday mornings. We’ll even take care of cutting and packaging them for you!
T-Shirts On Sale Now
T-Shirts are on sale now through Mr. Syrek’s class. There are four different designs available and we will wear them during Earth Week.
Fudge Sale The GSA Club will be selling fudge for $3 on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school.

A New Addition to the M/H School!
Thank you to everyone who purchased Valentine Flowers from our Student Council! From the pro-ceeds of the sale, we now have a commercial grade microwave for our cafeteria. The Middle/High PTA also kicked in the funds to buy a sec-ond one! So, no waiting! Hot Ramen noodles, warm Hot Pockets and sizzling leftovers are now on the menu at the Middle/High School!

3rd-5th Grade Elementary Jump Jammers
The Elementary jump rope season is upon us. The first practice will begin on Friday, March 10th at from 4pm- 5:30pm and then will be held every Friday at that time. The Jump Jam event will be held on April 22 at the DeVos Place. Please make sure your child is picked up no later than 15 minutes after practice ends. Coaches should not have to stay for long periods of time waiting for a child to be picked up. With this great opportunity there is a need. Coaches are always needed whether it is a helper or a head coach of a team. If you are interested please contact Mr. Covey at 819-6801.
Middle School Spring Sports
Spring sports will be starting April 10, the week after Spring Break. The sports are: girls soccer, baseball, softball, and track.
Practices will most likely be 4:30-6, Monday through Thursday. Students need a physical, signed permission slip and $3 insurance money.

The Elementary PTA is excited to host our second annual Pancake Breakfast on March 18 from 8 - 11 AM! You and your friends, family, and neighbors are all invited! Help spread the word by sharing our Facebook event. Our breakfasts are $8 for adults and $5 for children. They include eggs, oranges, sausages, orange juice, real maple syrup, and, of course, delicious pancakes. As mentioned on the Elementary Building page, we are looking donations of ingredients to keep our costs down. If you can help us out, that would be great! Please click here for a list of what’s needed. We strive to provide a great breakfast for those with food sensitivities as well. If you understand cross-contamination and are interested in helping cook food during the breakfast, please email Ruth VanWalsum for more information.
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, head over to Blandford and have a great time at their annual Sugarbush Festival! They are a great partner for Frost and we love to support them! If your family isn’t a member yet, please consider becoming one. Blandford graciously extends a discount to Frost families. A membership lets you walk the trails for free and gets you dis-counts on great programs.
