FROM THE DESK OF THE CHAIRMAN

The "Symposium on Applied Aerodynamics and Design of

Aerospace vehicles" (SAROD-2005) being held at Hyderabad

during December 8-9, 2005 serves as an ideal platform to share

and disseminate the knowledge and experiences among the

aerodynamics professionals from India and abroad. A strong need

was felt to publish a directory of Aerodynamic Scientists and

Engineers from different organizations.

I am glad that the program committee has taken initiative

and published the first directory of all aerodynamic experts in the

country. This publication will help to contact other aerodynamicists

working in different field of aerodynamics.

I am sure this Directory will grow in size and content.

I am indebted to Shri Prahlada, Chairman, AdvisoryCommittee, Dr. R. K. Ramanathan, Chairman, OrganizingCommittee and Dr. M. Nagarathinam, Chairman, ProgrammeCommittee in providing the support and encouragement to bringout this directory. I am also thankful to my team members ShriVijay Kumar, Shri D. K.
