From the Batcave (NC) By Marty Wall, Regional Manager I'm proud to announce the newest member to join our great group of ARLs. Christian Meyer is a father of three, Caiden age 4, Leilah age 9 and Makayla age 12. He has a wonderful wife Tabatha who is an accomplished Virginia elementary school teacher. He has keys to a house in Batcave, North Carolina, and yes you can call him "The Batman." Iprobably will. His wife was scooped up by the first school she applied to. Tabatha is well versed in curriculums that North Carolina is rolling out this year, so she will be a rock star also. Christian was working three jobs when I ran across his application. It was almost impossible to schedule an interview so we had a clandestine style meeting in front of Orange Julius, while he was on break from Fresh Market.Quickly I could tell he had a strong work ethic with passion for food, so the negotiations continued. After I showed him he could have quality family time and earn a good living wage with us, we came to terms. Christian ran many mom and pop style establishments, and is the only American Hibachi chef ever to perform for me in any Japanese Style restaurant. He came to Orange Ave. as we rolled out Merit, and I coveted him as we phased out older JRN practices and worked one on one with him through his onboarding. He then filled in for Mickey as he had surgery and an extended recovery. During this time, we rolled out SWS, honed our VOC skills and rolled out many new initiatives. After a year atthis location she relocated to Rock Hill, SC where she began to work for KIC with Outlaw Enterprises. She started with them as a team member and quickly moved up to a shift leader, AUM and RGM. Lea comes to us with high praise from the Outlaw orgarrtization. She is currently training at the Lebanon, TN store, and willbe moving to the Gallatin, TN location. I have high expectations for Lea. I have been working with her the last 2 weeks and have been extremely impressed with her. She has demonstrated great communication skills and work ethic. 1-8OO-ffiffiBYtpHt$fi?effit"The food quality was excellent, and the man

working the drive thru, and the lady that filled ourorder were both very professional. We could tellthey wanted to ensure we were satisfied. We drovethrough at i:30 on a Sunday aftemoon," reported a

customer of the Somerset, KY store.A dine-in customer said the manager at the

Versailles, KY store is very sweet."Angela was very kind, polite and

professional, as well as very knowledgeable aboutthe products and menu. She provided excellentcustomer service. I called the store to complimenther, and found out she was a manager. The livers Ihad were cooked to perfection, and the store isalways clean and well stocked. I appreciate thisrestaurant, and feel it should be used as a model forother KFC stores," stated a caffy out customer ofthe Laurel Avenue, Bowling Green, KY store.

"We took our 9 year old grandson on siiringbreak to Charleston, and he had researched placesto stop on our way. One of his suggestions wasCorbin, KY. Our experience was great! The foodand service were outstanding! The museum, original kitchen and motel were a very nicesurprise. He took many pictures. This year inschool his class had a wax museum and was able topick a famous Indiana person to portray. He choseColonel Harland Sanders. If we ever travel thatway again, we will definitely visit. I tried to loadhis pictures from the wax museum but was unable. He was dressed from head to toe as ColonelHarland Sanders with a stuffed chicken by his side, along with an empty KFC bucket. Thank you!"writes a happy customer.

"The cashier who served me today waswearing glasses, ahat an.d was very pleasant, upbeat, and professional. She was very attentiveand suggested various items," reported a drive-thrucustomer of the Cookeville, TN restaurant.

"I drove through the Cookeville, TN KFC oneSunday and was unsure about combining types ofchicken in a Fill Up box since you now haveNashville Hot chicken. The young man taking myorder was so patient and polite as he explainedoptions to me. I wanted half gallon tea, but youwere out so he informed me that two large drinksfor same price would equate to the half-gallon. Hisvoice was clear, and he was still just as courteouswhen he collected my money and gave me myfood. Because he impressed me with greatcustomer service I thought he should berecognized. My ticket number was #1333. It wasnot easy to locate and complete this survey, so Isurely hope the young man gets rewarded for his

service," wrote an impressed customer of theCookeville, TN store.

"We moved to Tennessee from the WestCoast (WA State), where we had long stoppedeating KFC. Upon visiting the KFC inMurfreesboro, we found the KFC buffets to be

wonderful! The chicken is cooked with flavor andthe abundance ofsides to choose from is great! Ishouldn't say this, but it was like I had gone toheaven. Maybe it's a southem thing. I am onceagaina KFC lover. When I can afford to go out todine, it will be KFC because it is affordable. Thanks for your Tennessee locations and theexcellent food and customer service. What adifference, and it brought back memories of mymother's home fried chicken," wrote a happy dine-in customer of the Murfreesboro #3 location.

Jennie, a cashier at the Murfreesboro #2store received accolades from a dine-in customerwho said "Job well done and thanks for being veryattentive." The customer also said the buffet wasdelicious.

The Lebanon, TN KFC restaurant receivedcompliments from a dine-in customer who statedthe employees were very friendly, courteous andhelpful.

"While I was visiting the Hickory Hollow,KFC, I was pleasantly surprised by thegentleman's friendliness. My daughter was upsetwith me because I ordered the wrong food for her.The employee reassured her there was plenty oftime to correct the order. He then started cheeringher up by complimenting her hat. The name on theslip said C'Archie. I am so glad some people stillare empathetic and take pride in their customerservice jobs. I work in customer service and I wasimpressed by this gentleman. Thank You!!!!"writes a carry out customer of the HickoryHollow, Antioch, TN store.
