    The Problem

During the poverty simulation it became apparent that a existent problem in this kind of environment is that people are notworking together nor using their existing resources as effectively as they could as poverty conditions usually lead to unhealthydiets because its convenient and widely available.

By not working together there is no communication channel open and therefore limited opportunity to work together.

    Goals

    Unity and self-sufciency

    Help neighborhoods save money

The goal of our project is to help neighborhoods become more unified and self-sufcient by helping individuals put togethertheir resources and make the most of what they already have. By using the community garden, recipe, and potluck tips includedin the packet the residents of the neighborhood would work together to accomplish a goal that would help the entire community. This would lead to healthier, friendlier relations between neighbors, a drop in crime and stress, and in general a happierneighborhood.

This project would also help save money as some groceries could be grown instead of bought, and the cost of transportation

    could be cut

The imagery mixes clean friendly elements with realistic textures as to give a natural feel while still appearing fun and tangible. The multiple houses sharing one garden gives a sense of unity and cooperation. Each house owns one architectural component, symbolizing and emphasizing the need for pooling resources in the neighborhood to achieve a stronger unit.
