The ProMAX Platform Studio Series is a High-Performance Workflow Server designed for smaller video workgroups to accelerate and improve their content creation process. It features powerful shared storage that is optimized for video professionals using Adobe Premiere, Avid Media Composer, Apple’s Final Cut Pro and other creative software applications.

Perfect for deployment in live editing environments, Platform Studio has a unique desktop form factor with near silent operation.

Platform Studio Servers feature an extensive list of I/O ports for easy data transfers including Thunderbolt 2.0, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, FireWire 800 & 400.In addition the built-in Card Reader enables data transfers direct from camera to shared storage with support for CF, SD, SDHC, microSD, MMC and xD-Picture Cards.

Platform Studio can be configured with an optional built-in LTO drive for easy backup and archive. Because the LTO drive has direct access to the storage system it as able to read content from the drives and write it to tape with maximum efficiency.

Platform PortableShare Everything, Anywhere

Platform Portable was designed to help on-the-go creative groups be more organized and efficient, enabling real-time sharing of media and greater collaboration no matter what the content and where it is located.

For the widest compatibilty, storage devices can be easily connected to the server via Thunderbolt, USB, eSATA, FireWire and SAS. And all common file systems including Apple HFS+, FAT32 and NTFS are supported. Content from the attached drives can then be shared out to the workgroup over video optimized 1GbE and 10GbE connections using the ProMAX Platform Software.

Compatible with Mac OSX, Windows and Linux clients, the browser-based Platform software enables users to easily access content and manage the system from anywhere on the network. The software also serves to manage media assets for any storage devices that may be used with the system. Connected drives can be indexed and files catalogued for easy searching regardless of whether the drives are online or offline. In addition to reading the existing metadata, custom tags can be added to individual files and proxies can be generated for preview.

Platform Portable is built tough to perform on location and features a rugged steel construction with anti-static padding. It is lightweight and small enough to fit easily into airline overhead bins and each server comes with its own custom travel bag.
