THE SILVER ANGELS TRIP TO THE MONASTERY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT in Conyers on Wednesday October 17th • Depart from Catholic Center @ 9 am sharp. • Arrive at Monastery @ 11 am. You may either bring your lunch or purchase lunch at the monastery. We hope to have a private dining room. If you plan to attend, please contact Elena Lyons: [email protected]. BEREAVEMENT GROUP meets in the Library on an as-needed basis. The next meeting is Monday, October 15, 2018 from 1:00PM-2:00PM. Meetings typically involve listening, optional sharing and helping each other on our journey in grief. No matter where you are in your journey (anticipatory grief, acute grief or long-standing grief) or if you feel you can contribute, please join us in our healing process. All are invited to attend! HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL AT THE CATHOLIC CENTER: Come one, come all to the Family Fun Night on Wednesday, October 24 from 6:00-7:00pm. Join Catholic Center families for fun games, treats, costumes, prizes and more.

Donations Needed: Donations of individually wrapped baked goods (cookies, brownies, bars...no nuts please) and individually wrapped Halloween candy are needed for the “cake walk.” Please deliver donations to the bin on the Hall stage. Special thanks to the Confirmation 1 and 2 classes for sponsoring this wonderful event.

HALLOWEEN HOMEBOUND BASKETS DONATIONS NEEDED BY SUNDAY OCTOBER 24 We look forward to providing gift baskets to members of our Catholic Center Faith Community who receive Communion in their homes. Please donate new individual cards, note cards or sets of cards and/or individually wrapped healthy snacks (crackers, raisins, granola bars). We will fill the baskets with the cards and healthy snacks. Donations will be accepted until noon on Sunday, October 28. Please bring donations to the bin on the Hall stage. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

GRADUATE STUDENT/YOUNG PROFESSIONAL FELLOWSHIP (GSYPF) BIBLE STUDY will next meet on Monday, October 15, at 7:00PM at the Catholic Center to discuss Chapter 3 in the study guide "Colossians & Philemon: New Life in Christ." Mark Your Calendars!

START SAVING YOUR COATS: The Knights of Columbus will conduct our annual Coats for Kids drive November 10th-11th and 17th-18th. We will be collecting gently used coats for kids and adults as well as monetary donations after all masses. $18.33 will buy a coat for a child who would otherwise go cold this winter. Last year we were able to serve the needs of The Oasis at St. Raphael, NE GA food bank, and ACT Oconee food bank.
