Friday, April 9, 2021 Day 2 – Mansions, Gardens, and Memorials After an incredible included Gaylord Buffet Breakfast including cooked-to-order omelets, we’re off to explore the amazing sites in our Nation’s Capital. First, we’ll stop for a photo opportunity at the White House followed by a tour of the White House Visitors Center. Afterwards, enjoy monument touring to include: The Vietnam Veterans Memorial, The Lincoln Memorial, The Korean War Veterans Memorial, and the WWII Memorial before having lunch on own at the Department of Agriculture in their massive cafeteria. After lunch, we’ll drive along Embassy Row to Hillwood Estate, Museum and Gardens, a kaleidoscope of color this time of year. The mansion is the former home of cereal heiress Marjorie Merriweather Post and features one of the most amazing and comprehensive collections of eighteenth and nineteenth-century Russian Imperial art outside of Russia. Dinner is included this evening at a local favorite prior to enjoying an after-dark, Illuminated Monument Tour. Before returning to the Gaylord, stop by and walk through the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts for amazing city views from the terrace and the famous bronze bust of John F. Kennedy in the grand foyer. (B, D)

Saturday, April 10, 2021 Day 3 – VIP Pink Cruise and Parade After your full breakfast buffet we depart to see the spectacular Cherry Blossom Parade from our Premium View Seats located in front of The National Archives and across from the TV cameras for this nationally broadcast event. Enjoy performances from around the USA performed right in front of us, and see the Cherry Blossom Princess. After the parade, we’ll escape the crowds for a late lunch near by the National Portrait Gallery featuring The Presidents Portraits. Later this afternoon, board the MARS Exclusive “Pink Cruise”. Enjoy beautiful views of the Tidal Basin from the glass-enclosed Bateaux & the outside decks. Indulge in pink signature cocktails, a delicious on-board meal, entertainment, and a keepsake photo! Wear Pink! Best Pink outfits win prizes! After docking, disembark, and continue the theme on a Pink Photo Stroll

of the Tidal Basin to take phots among the Cherry Blossom Trees as well as the Jefferson, FDR, and Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorials. Sunday, April 11, 2021 Day 4–Artechouse Cherry Blossom Interactive Arts and Tour After a full buffet breakfast, we’ll check out of our resort. Cap off the exceptional visit to our Nation’s Capital with a Cherry Blossom themed show at the Artechouse DC, which incorporates art and elaborate interactive exhibits you’ll have to experience to believe. Meet your guide and begin our DC Touring today with Arlington National Cemetery—Tram tickets are included for your convenience. Upon our departure, visit the Smithsonian Institution’s museums of choice on the National Mall. Have lunch on own while visiting the museums before departing for home. (B)
