Habitat
Why do frogs live on water and on land? Frogs live in water because of their skin that can dry out very easily and because they lay their eggs there.Frogs live in warm place such as swamps, marshes and ponds.
Diet
Do frogs eat other frogs?
Yes. Usually frogs smaller than themselves .What else do they eat???? They eat spiders, worms, fish and flies.
They use their long tounge to catch these animals. Their tongue is about a third of its length. That would be the same as our
tongue reaching our belly button.
AppearanceHow big are frogs? Well, the biggest is the
goliath frog and the smallest is a Cuban Pygmy frog. The biggest in America is the bullfrog. Most frogs are green or brown but the poisonous ones are usually a bright color.
Fun FactsDid you know that frogs have teeth? They
have teeth on their upper jaw and on the roof of their mouth. They are called. Maxillary (upper jaw) and Vomerine (roof). Frogs have ears. They are connected to their lungs.
