CAN be a friend We wondered what other kids did when they
played with their friends

PLAYGROUND RESEARCH We decided to watch some kids playing We made a plan Mrs Juteau emailed to see if we could
watch Grade 2 and 3
STEP 1 – WHERE? Jeremy, William and Yong Hyun said we
needed to spread out to see more of the playground
Mrs.Juteau picked two names out of a cup
Those kids had to decide where they would watch
STEP 2 – WHAT WILL WE DO? We knew we needed to write down what
we saw Mishaa had the idea to make a t-chart –
one side for ‘Being a Friend’ and one side for ‘Not Being a friend’
STEP 3 – WATCHING KIDS PLAY We got our papers and clipboards We went outside to our areas to watch Some kids drew pictures Some kids wrote words Some drew ✓and ✗
