Daryl Click

Daryl Click was born on 23 Jul 1941 in Latah, Spokane, Washington as the third child

of Glen Vern Click and Florence May Kreyssler. He had two siblings: Robert E., and

Dennis Dale.

William Henry Click II was born on July 4, 1860 in Eugene, Lane, Oregon as the fourth child of William Henry Click I and Margaret Jane Breeding. He had three sib-lings: Madison Monroe, Mary Francis, and Thomas Carson. He died on 28 May 1914 in Tekoa, Washington. His first wife, Lusetta Spores died before 1900. When he was 38, he married Lulu May Black in 1901 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. William Henry Click II lived in Jackson, Oregon, in 1870. He lived in Camas Creek, Nez Perce, Idaho 1880. He lived in Farmington, Whitman, Washington in 1900. He lived in Coeur d'Alene Indian Reservation, Kootenai, Idaho in 1910. William Henry Click II and Lulu May Black had the following children: Clarence Raymond Click was born on 04 May 1901 in Whitman, Washington. He died on 02 Dec 1941 in California. Winferd Homer Click was born on 17 Jun 1907 in Spokane, Washington. He died on 20 Mar 1980 in Seattle, Washington. Glen Click was born on 07 Apr 1906 in Latah, Washington. He died on 26 Oct 1968 in Washington.

John Walter Hall

John Walter Hall was born on 27 Oct 1882 in Quincy, Ad-

ams County, Illinois, USA as the third child of John H.

Hall and Naomi Margaret Shrigley. He had five siblings:

Katie, Jessie S., Homer H, Earnest R, and Earle W. He

died on 27 Sep 1897 at the age of 14 years, in Tekoa,

Whitman, Washington.

Sarah Gumm

Sarah Gumm was born on 16 Oct 1899 in Whitman,

Washington, as the seventh child of John Andrew

Gumm and Mary Elmira Austin. She had seven sib-

lings: Leroy C, Ivy M, Ion M, Ollie E, E, Ora D, and

Charles L. She died on 21 Oct 1899 at the age of 5

days in Tekoa, Whitman County, Washington.

Lloyd B. Birdsell

Lloyd B. Birdsell was born on 27 Mar 1897 in Lone

Pine, Whitman, Washington as the first child of Justin

Pembrook Birdsell and Octavia Gertrude Reeves. He

had six siblings: Mary Leona, Leone N, Leonard R,

Lester Benjamin, Hellen, and June T. He died in 1897

in Lone Pine, Whitman, Washington.

Our Autumn meeting was held October 13, 2016 at 10:00 am at the Feeding Station

in Tekoa WA. Members present were President Terry Smiley, VP Patti Smiley, and

Sec/Treasurer Jim Irwin. Members present were Joan Abbott, Howard & Sandra

Morgan, and Rod Smith.

New & old business discussed was the on going cleanup of brush in the cemetery and

the installation of a new headstone placed by the Daryl Click Family for their ancestor,

William Henry Click II, on the west slope of the cemetery.

Treasurer’s report for the year and from inception of the project in 2006 through Octo-

ber 13, 2016 presented by Jim Irwin. Income from contributions for the entire ten years

are $13,945.86 and Expenses of $12,853.24 leaving a total of $1,092.62 in the check-

ing account at Banner Bank

The days work plans were to meet with the HOPE students from The Upper Columbia

Academy in Spangle WA at 12:00 and work until 4:00 pm cutting and stacking brush

for burning at a later date.

The Work Day began as planned at 12:00N in spite of a light rain that lasted through-

out the day, and as usual the HOPE group arrived on time and as usual done a terrific

amount of work in the time allotted them. Refreshments were served to the students

at the end of the work day.

The Spring meeting and work day is planned for some time in April 2017.

Congratulations to Rod & Sue Smith Of Kettle Falls WA on celebrating their 50th Wed-

ding anniversary on Saturday October 15th. They are charter members of the

Friends of Lone Pine Cemetery.
