We are excited to be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the formation of the Friends of the Fox Theatre non-profit organization.

Friends of the Fox was instrumental in saving the Fox Theatre from being demolished, assisted the city in the theatre’s renovation and has, for 20 years, brought classic movie showings to the theatre on a consistent basis. Because of Bob Hartzell's persistence, we have the beautiful Robert Morton pipe organ in the Theatre for all to enjoy at each movie as well as the restored theater for all to enjoy.

We invite you to attend a special celebratory event before the movie, Grease, on September 18. Starting at 12:30, enjoy live music by The Advocates, an art exhibit by Art Expressions of San Joaquin featuring Robert Kelley, and at 1:30 the organ concert by Dave Moreno. Emcee Matias Bombal will announce the movie at 2:00 p.m.

For those hard to buy for friends and relatives, consider a gift membership. For a lasting gift, a Save My Seat Membership will have a brass plaque attached to an available seat of your choice along with a one year membership. These memberships help to make it possible to show the classic movies each month for all to enjoy.

We have security available at the Sunday movies and Board Members are happy to escort patrons to cars.
