Help us Give BAck!Friendly the Eagle and Waukesha State Bank are giving back to the community in April to celebrate Community Banking Month. Here are some ideas on how you can help!

• Get your youth group to host a car wash or bake sale and give the money you’ve collected to a good cause.

• Take part in a “walk” or “run” that is raising money and get people to sponsor you.

• Serve food in soup kitchens or help out in a hospital. • Help organize a toy or food drive at school.• Get your school singing group together to perform at

homes for the elderly or disabled. There are lots of ways to help people without spending money. Talk to your parents and teachers to get more ideas, or go to www.themint.org/teens/give-time-and-energy.html.

Ways to Share with those in need. You have a lot of things. Just look in your closet. There’s stuff in there you haven’t used in years, like clothes and toys. Stuff that’s just sitting there not doing anybody any good. You may feel “attached” to these things and think,“Someday I might want that.” The better question might be, “When was the last time I used that?”What should you do with this stuff? How about giving it to someone who CAN use it? There are plenty of kids who don’t have games, toys, or nice clothes. Your things would be great “gifts.” Someone would be really happy to have your stuff. But remember, anything you give others should be “gently used” – in good shape and not broken.What about those boxes in the basement or the attic? Think about that stuff, too. If these things have given you joy, they can give that same joy to someone else. It will make you feel good – and it will give you more room in that closet!www.themint.org/kids/ways-to-share.html
