• In 1952, he had his first exhibition at the Art Club of Vienna.
• In 1953 he painted his first spiral.
• He got married in 1958. Then in 1960 he received a divorce.
• In 1966 Ferry Radax filmed the first documentary on him in La Picaudière.
• He worked on the Olympia poster for Munich in Lengmoos in 1971.
