Powerspeak recently made upgrades to all of its elementary and middle schoollevel world language courses. One of those courses is Middle School Latin(Years 1 and 2). A coordinated, switch to the new versions of the coursescaused a disruption for many students access. Currently, the Powerspeak and

K12technical teams are working together to resolve the issues. We expect theissues to be corrected by next week. When they are corrected, students whoclick the Powerspeak button from the their OLS accounts will enter their MSLatin courses as usual, and (if they were originally assigned to the older ver-sion of the course) will see a the new, improved version of the course.

If you experience issues with other elementary and middle school level worldlanguage courses, please continue to bring them to the attention of the Power-

speak help desk at 800-596-0910.

Forms for purchasing the yearbook (pre-sale - $20) will be atthe front desk of the school starting Mon. the 14th. Please turnall money into Ms. McKenna, Ms. Karen or Mrs. Tollefsen. Saleruns till Nov. 6th then the book goes up to $25. Also correc-tion: the yearbook signing party will be available to everyone.

We are in the process of updating student accounts for the Mac Server

(Oahu Only). All duplicate accounts and accounts with incorrect names

will be deleted. It is strongly recommended that students and staff

back up any files that they have saved onto their server accounts to a

flash drive. Mrs. Tollefsen and Mr. Imoto will be also creating new

accounts for the new staff and students. We will be doing the updates

and new accounts on Monday, Sept. 14, 2009. Please pardon anyinconvenience that this may cause. We are working hard to help things
