Cosmic Circuits offers a broad portfolio of differentiated analog, mixed-signal and connectivity IP cores in nanometer technology nodes. The analog and mixed-signal IPs cover the areas of data converters, analog front-end platforms for wireless and audio, power management and clocking, while the connectivity solutions target the MIPI D-PHY- and M-PHY-based applications, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, PCIe and HDMI. GDA Technologies is a leading supplier of high-speed-interface silicon IPs. GDA leverages its rich experience in the computing & networking domain and has developed many silicon-proven, high- performance modular and configurable IPs. GDA brings a complete array of high-quality, matured USB 3.0 and MIPI family of digital IPsto mobile, storage, consumer and PC peripherals to the market. GDA, with its partner eco-system, provides total solutions meeting a broad range of SoC applications. GDA is part of the L&T Technology Services Group offerings that aim to provide end-to-end product design capability to its customers. The MIPI UniPro/M-PHY solution includes GDA's UniPro controller with Cosmic Circuits' MIPI M-PHY. Cosmic's M-PHY is proven in several technologies including multiple flavours of 28 nm. The solution has been validated on an application platform that integrates the Cosmic M-PHY silicon on a daughter card with the UniPro controller emulated on FPGA. These application platforms are now available to customers on request. Vedamoorthy, VP of IP and CDMS business, GDA Technologies, said, "UniPro is the backbone of next generation mobile chip to chip interface protocol and we strive to make our UniPro Controller, a high performance, highly configurable and interoperable IP product. GDA Technologies, along with Cosmic Circuits, has built a fully integrated and tested UniPro+ M-PHY solution which can be readily deployed into high complexity, time to market mobile and consumer SoC designs." Sundararajan Krishnan, director of IP at Cosmic Circuits, added, "The MIPI M-PHY standard is becoming the PHY-of-choice for mobile applications and we are committed to providing the M-PHY in multiple technologies and the controllers for the many different applications in a mobile platform. We are very excited that we have crossed another important milestone on our roadmap with this successful partnership."

Cosmic Circuits, GDA Announce MIPI UniPro Solution

Cosmic Circuits, a leading provider of differentiated analog, mixed-signal and connectivity IP cores, and GDA technologies, a leading supplier of IP for communications, storage and consumer markets, announced a strategic partnership on the MIPI UniPro/M-PHY solution.

GDA leverages its rich experience in the computing & networking domain and has developed many silicon-proven, high-performance modular and configurable IPs.

GDA Technologies, along with Cosmic Circuits, has built a fully integrated and tested UniPro+ M-PHY solution which can be readily deployed into high complexity, time to market mobile and consumer SoC designs."

Sundararajan Krishnan, director of IP at Cosmic Circuits, added, "The MIPI M-PHY standard is becoming the PHY-of-choice for mobile applications and we are committed to providing the M-PHY in multiple technologies and the controllers for the many different applications in a mobile platform.
