Hello SHBA members,
In May, we had a really great General Membership meeting sponsored by Scott
Haataja, First Metro Bank, with over 90 in attendance. This was followed by an
outstanding Parade of Homes during the last two weekends in May. We had record
attendance and sold the 2016 SHBA Showcase House during the first weekend of the
Parade. We sincerely appreciate those of you who supported this event by advertising
in the Parade video, entering a Parade house, and by attending. The success of the
Parade was due to your support and participation!
On Friday, June 17th, we will have our annual scholarship golf tournament. I
encourage you to support this worthwhile event through participation as a golfer or a
sponsor or both. Our June General Membership Meeting will be the lunch provided
at the golf tournament and will be sponsored by Max Barnett, PBS and Texas
Roadhouse. Then, on Friday, July 29th
we will have our Fifth Friday Free
Lunch at the SHBA office from 11:00-1:00 sponsored by Rogers Group [Scot
Cornelius]

We were so pleased with our Parade of Homes during the last two weekends in
May & the virtual Parade magazine that was promoted through our website and social
media. Thanks to all of you who participated by purchasing ad space or entering a
home in the Parade.
On Friday, June 17th, we will have our annual scholarship golf tournament. I
encourage you to support this worthwhile event through participation as a golfer or a
sponsor or both. Our June General Membership Meeting will be the lunch provided
