Marathon Club News: WEATHER GUIDELINES: the “real feel temperature” needs to be above 30 degrees in order for Marathon Club to commence. The committee relies on the information from “AccuWeather” to get the information. Also, if the trail has any sort of ice/snow, that would be another reason for cancelling. Please check your email from “EVENTBRITE” for cancellations. BE PREPARED: As it is getting colder please remind your students to “be prepared for Marathon Club,” with appropriate clothing for the weather. PICK UP: Please make sure you are picking up your students in a timely manner after Marathon Club. Walking/running the trail is not too cold, but the sitting and waiting for a ride is quite miserable for the students. TIMELINE: Marathon Club will be out on the trail Monday morning’s and Wednesday afternoons as long as the weather allows until school releases for Winter Break. We will then start back up mid-February/March dependent on weather.

THANK YOU TO ALL OUR VOLUNTEERS for making Marathon Club an opportunity for the students

(especially as it gets cold), the club couldn’t RUN (no pun intended) without you.
