NEW DELHI, Apr 17:

Notification was todayissued for the last phase of LokSabha polls to be held on May12 in 41 constituencies spreadover three States, including inVaranasi from where BJP’s PMnominee Narendra Modi is con-testing.

In Uttar Pradesh, 18 seatswill go to polls in the last phasewhile in West Bengal electionswill be held in 17 seats. In Bihar,six constituencies will go topolls on May 12.

Key seats in the last phaseinclude Varanasi, where Modi ispitted against AAP leaderArvind Kejriwal and Congress’Ajay Rai. Modi is also contest-ing from Vadodara in his homestate of Gujarat.

In Azamgarh in UP, SPsupremo Mulayam Singh Yadavis among the candidates. He is asitting MP from Mainpuri. Thistime, he is contesting from the

two seats.In Gorakhpur, sitting BJP

MP Adityanath is fighting to

retain his seat. BJP MPs havewon from Gorakhpur in easternUP since 1989.(PTI)
