Sports EveningA reminder that this takes place on the 12th July and begins at 5.30pm. Children need to arrive back at school at 5.15pm. Please let school know if your child cannot attend.

Children need to wear PE kit, including trainers and a tee-shirt in the colour of their House Team. Each child needs to bring a water bottle and sun protection.

Last day of termOn the last day of term (23rd July) there will be the year 6 leavers service at 11am – everyone is welcome. The school day finishes at 12 noon, but we invite all families to join us for a picnic on the back field from 12 o’clock. Children must be accompanied by their parents, carers or an adult; please let the school office know if someone else will be picking up your child and looking after them for the picnic.

If you would like your child to have a school picnic lunch, please let the school office know by Monday 8th July.The sandwich options are ham, cheese or cucumber.

We hope that all parents/carers can attend.

Water bottlesIt is important that children have a water bottle in school particularly during the hot weather, please can they also have a hat in school and have sun cream applied before coming in.

Dinner MoneyAll outstanding dinner money must be paid off by the end of the academic year.

Year 3/4 mini red tennis festivalSome of the children attended the mini red tennis festival and the White Horse Leisure Centre on Weds 3rd of July. The children learned some new skills and enjoyed playing competitions against other schools. Thanks to Mrs Pritchard for helping with transport.

Year 5/6 mini orange tennis County FinalsSome of the year 5/6 children attended the mini orange tennis County Finals at the White Horse Leisure Centre on Weds 3rd July. The children played amazingly against some tough competition and the report will follow. Many thanks to Mrs Lee and Mrs Queralt for leading the event.

Danish LongballOn Monday 1st July, we played Danish Longball, It went on until 5pm. We were plying against Cumnor, they are very fast. The aim of the games is to score the most points. It was really fun. Me, Noah, Archie, Alfie, Ollie, TJ, William and Sasa went.We would also like to say thank you to the staff who helped the team at this event.Written by Olivia.
