We would like to introduce ourselves as ROTARY BROWNS BAY, who are the licensed promoters of JUMBO TENNIS EVENTS on the
North Shore of Auckland for Charity fund raising purposes.
WHAT IS JUMBO TENNIS?JUMBO TENNIS is a fun, quick fire, team event. Games are short and played with very oversized racquets. The rules are simple and have been designed to ensure everyone has a great time. JUMBO TENNIS was first introduced in Wellington NZ in 2009 and has now grown to a major tournament. ROTARY BROWNS BAY has the license for Jumbo Tennis on the North Shore, Auckland and we will be organising our 4th JUMBO TENNIS Charity fund raising tournament in 2019.
WHERE AND WHEN?Our 4th Jumbo Tennis Tournament will held at the Albany Tennis Centre, Auckland. All the matches will be held in this superb indoor arena on Friday 15th March 2019 and play commences at 4.30 pm. The tournament will be held on a Round Robin basis so all competitors will play in the same number of matches irrelevant of the playing skills. There will be an interval where complimentary food will be available and light entertainment provided for your enjoyment. A cash bar will be available throughout the event.
WHO CAN ENTER?The event is open to all individuals, corporates, schools and organizations who would like to enter an event with fun and food. No playing experience is necessary and the oversize racquets will mean that the experienced tennis players may not necessarily be the winners. Teams are of either two or four players who play in dou-bles team(s). If you are a corporate organization, special terms and facilities can be negotiated for multiple entries. Why not make it your Corporate/Employee day out, and we will do all the hard work for you? Please contact us for further details.
