Ahoy there, mateys! Welcome to Greenwich and the next stage in that wonderful journey we call life.

We’re here as your Students’ Union to improve your life at university in all sorts of ways, but first let’s explore some of what’s happening in the very best weeks of university - Freshers!

This guide offers you the big picture of what’s going on during the first weeks of term. We don’t just have club nights, quiet bar nights, fantastic food and amazingly fun Freshers Fairs, we’ve also got sports teams trials, student society meet-and-greets, and an opportunity for you to get really settled in.

Whether you meet us or not, you’ll definitely meet new friends, try new things, and become a London student .

And what about the rest of the year? Well, we’ll still be here. Your Students’ Union is a vital part of your university life. We don’t just offer the fun things, we’re also there to represent you and fight for what you want. In short, we aim to ensure that you have the best university experience possible. So, what are you waiting for? This is going to be the best journey yet.

You’ve got the timetable, maybe even the booklist and, in the back of your mind, you’ve noted the hand-in dates… so now it’s time to have some fun!

Your Students’ Union offers that (and a whole lot more) and we’re getting the new year off with a bang at our Freshers Fairs.

Sports Clubs? Yep. Societies? Yep. Local organisations? Yep. SU Information? Yep. New friends to meet? Yep. Freebies? Yep. Bags full of freebies!

Freshers Fairs are very busy and very buzzy, so make sure you’re there to find out about the whole world of university life beyond the classroom.

It doesn’t matter if you’re sporty or not, if you have a hundred hobbies or none (that you’ve thought of) or whether you have two friends on Facebook or 2000, our Freshers Fairs will have something for you!

We’re at all three campuses - details below. See you there!
