FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS To those that dream, We are building something very special on the Westside. A safe space to grow, to scale, to build, to collaborate, to try, to fail, and to fly. We are building the institution. Think of it as our University, our HBCU dedicated to economic mobility, growth, and scale - the epicenter of entrepreneurship, innovation, and business for our community. A place we can call ours, where we control the narrative and we control our own destiny. We do not seek to beat the odds: our mission is to change them. We invite you to join with us in realizing this vision. In the heart of one of Atlanta’s Opportunity Zones, the Russell Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (RCIE) will soon house more than 50,000 square feet of affordable co-working, convening, meeting, and maker space, along with a robust offering of educational, mentoring, networking, and capital resources - all dedicated to inspiring ideas, creating jobs, scaling companies, and increasing wealth in the community. RCIE will be the largest center in the country, driven by impact, devoted to empowering African American entrepreneurs and small business owners. Every great thing has a beginning: on May 1st, we will begin our journey towards making history. Because of your affiliation with one of our partner organizations, your expressed interest, or by nomination, we are pleased to invite you to apply to become one of our FOUNDING 100 MEMBERS. We are in the earliest stages of our development and construction: however, we know that entrepreneurs and small business owners have “right now” needs. We want to meet those needs as we continue to build. Founding Members will play a critical role in establishing the culture and the covenant that will set the tone at RCIE for generations to come. Each member will have access to needed work space, technical assistance, mentorship, and resources to grow and expand your business. Our focus is affordability. We will offer the most comprehensive co-working, incubator, accelerator model in the marketplace. Details on membership are enclosed. Please submit your application no later than April 15th. As we continue to build and grow our space, this inaugural class will be the first of many, developing a collaborative community of BIG IDEAS and doers, more than 1,000 strong. Through RCIE, we will build a prepared and capable pipeline of entrepreneurial leaders and sustainable businesses that will raise the collective prosperity of our city. What Does it mean to be a Founding RCIE 100 Member?Answer: The Founding 100 will play a critical role in establishing the culture and covenant that will set the tone for the Russell Center for Innovation andEntrepreneurship for generations to come. Although we are in the earliest stages of our development andconstruction we will be able to offer to our Founding 100 members immediateaccess to needed workspace, technical assistance, mentorship, access, andopportunity to grow and expand your business.

When is the application deadline?Answer: 11:59 pm on April 15

When does membership start?Answer: May 1, 2019
