Since 2002, we’ve taken the fabric from a simple, single-ply, non-waterproof stretch, to the first laminated 2 and 3-ply fabrics, to the premium coated waterproof fabrics we are proud to offer in our range today.

FREEFORMFLEX® 3.0 (Coated stretch, all-weather) FreeformFlex® is setting the new standard for the rental industry internationally. Tested in the lab and on the ground for over 3 years, this fabric ticks all the right boxes. The ultimate stretch fabric for rental tents and semi-permanent custom-fits, it comes with a 2 year waterproofing warrantee, and is compliant with major international fire and safety standards. FREEFORM® SUPALITE™ (Coated both sides, all-weather)Tents made from our new Freeform® Supalite™ go up and come down effortlessly and are easy to manage (big tents go in small bags). They are an excellent option for small to medium events and are also great for camping and for quick, all-weather cover at home. Their form is beautiful and forgiving, and even the novice rigger will make these tents look stunning. Freeform® offers a 1 year waterproofing warrantee on the fabric which is compliant with major international fire standards.

FREEFORM® THREE-PLY (Laminated, waterproof)Freeform® was the first company to develop the original three-ply waterproof stretch fabric. Three-ply technology has since proved itself a successful solution for the rental industry in South Africa. Freeform® Three-Ply is not suitable to be left up for long periods of time and is the less durable option when compared with FreeformFlex®.

FREEFORM® SHADE (Single-ply, teflon coated, non-waterproof)Freeform® Shade single-ply is our light weight, non-waterproof fabric and is used chiefly for quick, temporary shade covering or for permanent indoor installations.

Freeform® Stretch Tents has changed the event landscape forever. The stylish and cost-effective alternative to the traditional event marquee, there’s nothing quite like a Freeform® to bring an event to life!

Our tents are manufactured to any dimension of up to 630m2. Where covering for a larger area is required, multiple tents can be joined together in a modular fashion.

Freeform® event tents offer the following features:

Machine Welded Seams & Joins – No rip or drip! Freeform® has invested extensively in fabric welding technology to ensure our seams are super strong and 100% watertight. Our specially developed seam tape melts into the top coating. This creates added strength and guarantees a seam that will not leak.

Patches All patches are welded onto our tents and are not sewn. This allows the load to be spread evenly without compromising the integrity of the fabric with needle holes.

King Pole JackThe ‘King Pole Jack’ enables riggers to jack up the tent to the required height before inserting the pole – ensuring an optimally tensioned tent.

Pole ConnectorsOur aluminum pole connectors are precision engineered to ensure no play once poles are joined together. Although rigid when joined, they disassemble easily allowing 2m and 1.5m lengths to be conveniently transported and stored.

Aluminum poles, wooden poles or stainless steel polesAll poles sold by Freeform® tents are of commercial grade. Rental tents use aluminum or wooden poles. Stainless steel poles are also available.

Rubber Pole Caps and Rubber Pole FeetOur indestructible rubber pole caps and feet are custom-moulded to create the perfect grip and peak as well as a non-slip base on hard floors.

Durable Transport Bags Heavy-duty tent and pole bags are provided with each tent purchase to protect and transport tents to and from events.

Tent DeliveryPrior to delivery or shipment, our tents undergo a thorough inspection. Once this checklist has been signed-off, tents for export are packed into an inner fabric sleeve before being placed in a heavy-duty bag which is sealed and tagged with the export code. The heavy-duty sealed bag is then thoroughly cellophane wrapped for added protection during transit. These procedures ensure that your order is delivered to you in perfect condition.

Tent Rigging TrainingOur Rigging Division is available for training your team. Training can take place either at our factory premises in Cape Town, South Africa, or, if travel is a viable option, at your own location.
