QUILT INSTRUCTIONS: Finished Quilt Size: 60” x 70” Block size: 10”

BLOCK ASSEMBLY: Double Four Patch Block1. Sew (1) A 3” x WOF to (1) B 3” x WOF strip, press. Repeat to make (5) AB sets.

2. Sub cut AB strip sets into (60) 3” AB sets.

3. Sew (2) AB sets together, rotating (1) setto make a Four Patch. Press. Repeat withremaining AB sets to make (30) Four Patches.

4. Sew (1) Four Patch to left side of (1)C 51/2” square *note B fabric is top rightnext to D square. Repeat to make (30) Patch/51/2” sets.

5. Sew (2) Four Patch/51/2” sets together,rotating (1) set to make the Double FourPatch Block. Repeat to make 15 Double Four Patch Blocks.

Framed Square Block:6. Sew (1) D 2” square to either sideof (1) E 71/2” x 2” strip, press. Repeat to make (12) DED sets

7. Sew (1) E strip to either sideof (1) F 71/2” square, press. Repeat to make (6) EFE sets

8. Sew (1) DED set to the topand bottom of (1) EFE set to makeFramed Square Block. Repeat tomake (6) Framed Square Block.

9 Repeat Steps 6-8 using the followingcombinations with F 71/2” squares.Make (4)G&H blocks and (5)I & J blocks.

QUILT ASSEMBLY: referring to quilt diagram10. For odd rows 1, 3 and 5 - Sew (3) Double Four Patch Blocks and (2) Framed Square Blocks together, starting with Double Four Patch Block and alternating across the row. Sew together to make (3) Odd rows.

11. For even rows 2, 4 and 6 - Sew (3) Framed Square Blocks and (2) Double Four Patch Blocks together, starting with Framed Square Block and alternating across the row. Sew together to make (3) Even rows.

12. Sew rows together in order to make Quilt Center.

BORDER ASSEMBLY:13. Sew (1) Fussy cut K 601/2” x 41/2” strip to either side of Quilt Center. Press.

14. Sew (1) Fussy cut K 581/2” x 41/2” strip to the top and bottom of Quilt Center. Press.

FINISHING Cut batting and backing 3" larger than top on all sides. Layer backing, batting and top and baste or pin. When quilting is completed, trim excess batting and backing. Bind as usual.
