I’m so glad you’re here because I’m going to share with you a cool little technique to

help you get started in business quicker than you could have imagined.

Forget having to shell out hundreds or even thousands of dollars for your own business

because right here and now you’re going to learn a clever, underutilized way to get

started for peanuts.

It’s the great equalizer because it places anyone in a position, regardless of their skill

level, education or income to create their own online business right now, not tomorrow

or next week.

This literally is one of the easiest ways to hit the ground running in online business today

and anyone can go from novice to creating a viable business with real income in a

short amount of time.

When you compare the time and investment to get into a bricks and mortar business,

this is head and shoulders beyond it because you don’t need anywhere near the same

outlay or time investment.

In fact all you really need is a spare hour or two a day and a willingness to get your

hands dirty and jump right in.

Granted, as with anything in life, it will take some energy on your part but trust me when

I say that it’s well worth the effort and after all, you can’t reap any kind of reward

without first putting in some energy, even as Albert Einstein stated “nothing happens

until something moves” and nothing could be more true of business or anything in life


that you want to achieve for that matter. If you want to achieve a result, you have to

exert some effort. Those that put their faith in the instant, push button business mentality

will always be doomed to fall for its seductive appeal, but those that realize that in

order for something to happen and for you to truly achieve any kind of real, sustaining

results, you first have to move.

So let’s get moving...


Short Reports - Big Deal

I know right? Why should you care about a short report? Well let me tell you this that a

small report is like a pebble in the palm of your hand, full of potential.

It may not seem like much if you don’t do anything with it, but throw that humble little

pebble into a pond and it creates a ripple effect. Such is the power of the short report.

May not seem like much on its own but if used virally can come in contact with tons of

people, spreading your product everywhere. Talk about making major ripples with that

one little humble report. And this is where the Butterfly Effect that you’ve heard so

much about comes into play, you just never know in whose hands your short report may

end up in and everywhere with it goes your affiliate links, links to your products and

services. Talk about leverage.

So never underestimate the power of a short report.

The thing that appealed most to me and why I got into creating short reports as a

significant part of my business is that they’re quick to turnaround.

I’ve written the 100 plus page ebooks in the past and they’re no fun. You need a

certain amount of dedication and discipline to pull off a feat like that and let’s be

completely honest, most people won’t be able to do it. Not for lack of trying but we

have too many things going on in our lives to complete a mammoth task like that.

And let’s face, who likes sitting in front of a blank computer screen, praying they’ll get

hit with inspiration and their fingers will instinctively know what to type.

Unfortunately getting hit with flashes of inspiration is like getting hit by lightning, few and

far between so the reason why I like writing short reports is because the fact that I know

I’m only going to churn out 7-10 pages is doable and if it is for me, I know it is for a lot of

people.

Tell people to give me 7 pages and they’ll give it a try, but tell them to give you 100

pages and the procrastination monster rears its ugly head time and time again.


So that’s primarily why I like short reports, the succinctness of them means I’ll be able to

write several reports in the same time it would take me to write one chunky ebook.

Case in point, in just 90 minutes I was able to crank out this 8 written page report. I’m

not a whiz on the keyboard, I can’t type more than 20 to 30 words per minute, so my

pathetic speed is not the key to my success. Just the length of the ebook which makes

it achievable for me and I know I’m not alone in this. I’m sure you’d be more inclined to

start and finish a 7 page report than a 100 plus page ebook, am I right?

That’s a point I’d like to highlight too, it’s good for your confidence being able to start

and finish something in one day. With short reports, you’re not lingering with the same

old ebook for days on end. I don’t know about you, but when I work on something for

too long, I lose the passion and interest for it and I get bored and move onto something

else. Knowing that I can set out to create and finish a report in the same day means I

can get it out and have it earning for me and move on to the next one.

That’s another thing I’d like to highlight about short reports, the quicker you can create

them and get them out there in the market working for you, the more money you can

make.

If you have one report out there making $50 to $100 a month for you, it’s great but

nothing you can retire on or quit your job over but the system is duplicatable and the

more reports you have, the more you earn.

Imagine having 10 of these reports per month working for you or even 20, 30 or 50?

That’s potentially an extra $500 to $5,000 per month and the best thing of all, they work

tirelessly for you day and night. They don’t need to eat or sleep or stop for bathroom

breaks, your reports will work 24/7 all year round.

That means that you will continue to get money from all kinds of sources, indefinitely

and the more reports you create, your income only accumulates and snowballs and

this is why I love creating them.


Anyone Can Do This – Seriously

I truly believe that I’m nothing exceptional, I’m truly not. I’m not the best writer, the

fastest typist or the most talented person around, but I overcome all of this by taking

action. I know for a fact if I can do something like this, then anyone with half an ounce

of sense could leave me in the dust.

You absolutely can do this, even if you have your reservations and don’t think that you

can create your own short reports. I’m here to tell you that you can.

Especially when you write stuff that you know. I’m a big believer if you write about

things you have a passion for and things that truly interest you, you can write.

Your enthusiasm permeates the page and reaches out to your reader. Having written

short reports for a while now I started off that way, but with a little practice you grow a

new set of skills.

Just like developing an atrophied muscle, the more I wrote the more confidence I

gained enabling me to branch out into other fields, and not necessarily areas I had a

lot of knowledge and expertise in.

However by learning and researching, I quickly become adept at any niche I entered

into and you will too.

So don’t think that because you feel you can’t write that you can’t do it, take it from

someone who is not a writer, you can do it. If you don’t fancy the thought of writing

your short reports yourself, there’s a solution for you too. Don’t worry, where there’s a

will, there’s a way.


A Niche For Every Occasion

There is a niche out there on every topic imaginable, there’s one for you too, there’s

room enough out there for everyone without having to be crammed shoulder to

shoulder with your competitors.

You just have to think about it.

My favorite thing is to brainstorm and nothing technical is needed here other than a

pen and piece of paper.

easily identify and target to write a short report around.

So as you can see, there is a topic for everyone and so many things to write about, you

just have to decide what works for you.

So if you can identify something to create a short report around, you can make money

from it.

A great way to narrow down your choice of small report topics is to see if people are

already talking about your particular topic, the more people are talking about your

niche, the more potential it has.

Forums are a great way to check out buzz and to get a feel for the types of topics

people are talking about.

Another great way to know if you can monetize your short report before investing a

second of your time into creating it is to see if people are spending money in your

niche, if they are then you know you’ll be able to make money with it.

A couple of great places to check out are your local magazine store and

www.Amazon.com.

If people are spending money in your niche for information around your chosen topic

then you know you’re onto something good and chances are great they’ll spend

money on whatever you have to offer.


In Conclusion

I can’t stress enough just how powerful short reports can be. You can use them to

create a passive, income generating profit centers, or you can use them as entry level

products to move prospects through your sales funnel toward higher ticket products,

you can grow a subscriber list and you can use them to test your markets.

What better way to know if there’s a captive audience than to get into the trenches

and quickly and inexpensively test it with a short report.

Talk about saving your money, what a great way to test your market without sacrificing

money and with minimal energy and effort.

You can’t really say that about the 100 page ebook you knew would be a surefire

winner that turned out to be a dud.

You now have enough to get the grey matter ticking over. Think about the kinds of

topics you can start writing about. Ask the right questions, are people spending money

on this? Are people shelling out good money for this on Amazon or at my local

bookshop? Is there enough interest in my market based on the amount of forum buzz

going around?

With a short report, all out of your pocket is a little of your time, you can’t get better

than that.
