of tattoo. Because, as you know, we
prefer “old fashioned” methods. And
between a sticker on a car speeding
down the road and a great tattoo session
in a tattoo studio, we know exactly what
to choose to get first-hand info on this
fascinating art…Enjoy!
After all, surfing around the web had to
lead to this too… The recent news about
what a famous US car manufacturer (we
won’t say the name…) decided to do
with its new 2011 car models certainly
turned a few heads. Basically, the
famous car manufacturer will give its
future customers decorative car decals
(to stick to the doors probably) that
represent the geometric and stylistic
shapes of a real tattoo... And the gadgets
will not come in just a few samples but in
over two hundred different models to
meet all tastes and requests. Of course
such news doesn’t make us jump with joy
but clearly says a lot about how the vision
of tattoo is increasingly distorted and
exploited at top management levels.
But, stickers aside, things aren’t exactly like
this. Tattoo is still something fresh and
widely present in the third millennium
thanks to the fact that it hasn’t become
(and never will…) a “ middle-class” gadget
or harmless decoration for cars. Tattoo in
fact is still very dangerous for society
because it still expresses diversity and
communicates what we really are to the
world, our tastes, our desires and it does
